  • How did you get this price ?

    • it was the last one. display but still in cover.

      • Was it $84 only because it was the display model?

  • Even if your local DSE doesn't have one, take microsonanticirrus's receipt into any other store who stocks it for a price match!?

    • hmm sounds good except its out of stock, which makes this a non deal as there is none to buy .

Can this still be price matched ?

      • Just click on store availability and you will see stores that (possibly) have stock.

  • NICE! Wonder if our local DSE will have this…might go check it out.

Nice price. But a bit more info about how to actually get that price would be welcome. It's $199 on their web site. And as the actual store location is not shown on the receipt, I am a bit dubious as to whether my local Dick Smith's would match that price.

    • clearance $99 down from already reduced price of $179.

then $84 cos it was the last one and display

So why post this ? no one else can buy at this price its an ex display

Who is going to price match an ex display??

Personally i think this post is simialr to the office work deals where there is no stock but people post anyway.

        Waste of time

Just rang local DSE, need to use E8825 code not one on website.

A few in stock, only one I contacted was still $184.

Its on runout so guess he got lucky.

    • "need to use E8825 code not one on website" - what does this mean?

I've tried went to a store..

and the sales rep type in the code…

apparently they have 2 in stock.. but the price showed up as $184.84

The guy mention.. it might be the manager of the store.. that decided to mark down the price..

        coz it's a discontinued stock..

It could also be a mistake in that store. $84 for a nokia unlocked 5mp phone sounds unbelivable…

Bloody good price for a bloody good phone (Having said that, mine recently died just prior to its second birthday).
Camera is superb, GPS is very handy, Signal pickup is amazing.

BUT, noone else will get this price… surely.

ok, i'm going to close the thread because its getting full of banter
As we all know display models are sold every so often, OP you probably got the only one.
In future its probably better in the forums as it is a limited quantity.
