    The Note 4 will only be worth buying when it comes with Snap Dragon 653 CPU instead of mediatek and also have international LTE 4G bands.
    So far there been no news of this and it may not be released, I was waiting for it but have given up and bought Note 3 Special Edition.

    It's funny, about a year or so ago I searched for cheap Chinese phones with 3G: WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100MHz and they were very hard to find. Now I'm searching for 4G B28 and every phone I look at has 3G: WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100MHz. Maybe if I try again in a year they'll all have B28.

    Ordered a Redmi Note 3 Pro 16gb Model 3 weeks back and it arrived a few days ago but it came bootlooping. It would rarely load into the MIUI 8 system then randomly bootloop randomly until the battery drained. Didn't modify the phone in any way. Tried flashing global stable and beta roms (when it would rarely load up) with the system updater but still had boot loops (also tried the miflash program in EDL mode with successful flashed and no luck). Contacted support after sales and still no reply for 3 days. Getting a little annoyed here.

      I haven't. Placed an order on the 17th October and still not shipped. The presale clock seems to just keep resetting as well. I've emailed their support but no response.

          If I can't get the grey I will probably will go the gold. I'm don't think there's anything in this price range with the specs this phone has. Then there's also the option of flashing cm 13/14 on it as well.

    Online shops like geekbuying and everbuying always seem really cheap and have the bargain, but they don't deliver.

    I'm near the point of never buying from geekbuying again, and think OzBargain should give serious thought into banning them, for consistently mis-advertising and possible click-baiting.

    After waiting a month already for this phone (in Grey!), they first told me a couple of weeks ago that there will be a delay, which I was ok with, as long as it wasn't 2 more weeks. They made it seem like it would be sent out within the next 2 weeks.

    Today I get an email saying they can't send the grey, only the gold. I HATE GOLD!

    So, my choice seems to be, gold… or nothing.

    I've told them I want Grey, and want it soon. Selling stock they don't have is bullshit. Wasting over a month of my time when I could have had this phone from elsewhere is also bullshit.

    What are geekbuying up to? Do they do their order planning based on when they think Xiaomi will lower the price, get tonnes of pre-orders in place, then find they can only get the cheaper/harder to sell Gold phone from Xiaomi to fulfil those pre-orders?

    Basically, geekbuying are taking us for mugs.

      This is my first time with geekbuying but agree that if this has been the common experience then should not be promoted on the site.

        I had my order canceled (although I am still waiting on a refund… who knows when I will get that… if ever). Since then I bought one on AliExpress. It was shipped the day after I odered and is on its way which is worth the extra $US10 IMO.

        As a side note… why don't you guys downvote the deal? It's still on +85 even though it looks like nobody will get their phone…

    I just got the shipping confirmation for a "gold phone" I don't care how gay it looks, really! I also will never buy from geekbuying again. This has been by far been the shittiest online buying experience I have had, hmm maybe Dick Smith I dunno but really, really bad. To wait over a month and then have to change colours was ridiculous. I just hope I get a good un' and not have to send this gold phone back for warranty. ps I'm not having a go at gay people just my gay gold phone.

    I received confirmation from Geekbuying on Monday that my order for 1xgrey and 1xgold had shipped via DHL after waiting over a month. I was comforted that when it did ship at least I would receive it in reasonable time via dhl.

    Unfortunately the DHL tracking number provided by geekbuying isn't found in dhl's system and this is now a couple of days after they supposedly shipped it via DHL. My email to Geekbuying about this has gone unanswered.

    I am concerned that Geekbuying are once again delaying my order. I assume I could still cancel this order (paid via PayPal) if they can provide no actual evidence of it being shipped by DHL, other than a random DHL tracking number?

    I got my gold phone today. It was sent via Singapore Post. The tracking wasn't great. Actually, the tracking still says the parcel arrived in the country on 5/12 as its latest entry. The phone seems ok, it's a pity that it took so long to arrive.

    Finally my dhl tracking number actually provides some information. Interestingly, dhl say that they picked it up on Wednesday, yet Geekbuying sent me shipped notification saying it was sent on Monday. I think geekbuying may have a broad interpretation of what the status of "shipped" means.
