Good price for a Galaxy S6. Premium build quality, they take brilliant photos, and the GUI is smooth as silk. Probably the best phone available at this price point if you aren't fussed about lack of micro-sd card support.

$699 at bing lee, so likely $560 during their upcoming 20% off sale. Just FYI.

    • Got a start date for their upcoming sale? "Upcoming" is a bit vague.

This phone is still brilliant. Very fast, takes amazing photos, has a great screen. I went for the 64gb but probably would have been fine with the 32gb. This is a very good price for brand new local stock. Even used ones sell for around $500 on gumtree/ebay.

Great phone, I recently upgraded to an S7 and have put my work SIM in this. A charge lasts 2 weeks in low power mode! Paid $640 for the S7 grey import though, so not much more…

    • Always got me though the day before Pokémon Go was released;-)

Battery life is shockingly bad and I have only had mine for 6 months. Need at least the s6 edge with the bigger battery or the s7.

    • Let me guess, your phone before was a nokia brick phone with black and white screen

It appears that brick is in your head now

    • never had an issue?? Yes it gets low by the end of the day but meh it happens with most smart phones. Battery management app helps and not leaving apps running, bluetooth on etc.

update to android 6 and optimize the Samsung App power saving then it will make huge different for batter life

  • Is this unbranded?

Nope,Have Samsung written on the forehead :-)

  • Wow, surprisingly this has kept it's value. Remember paying $650 when it was released!

The Galaxy S6 32GB had an Australian release price of $999 [31 March, 2015].

I paid $868 for 64gb version about 2 months after release from JBHIFI. Not sure where you got $650 unless it was grey stock.

    • You must have bought a grey import.

      • Nope, was a group buy via bing lee on ebay.

It was about 2 months after release:)

        • That's not "when it was released", that's 17% into its release lifespan.
Anyway one-off limited deals like that aren't counted.

I bought S5 last year for about $320 after the AMEX card discount. I'm pretty sure S6 will drop down to $400 end of the year.

    • A price 30% drop in the next 60 days? Doubt that.

  • Price is now $698 @ HN

      Cheers, updated.

    • Now $884. Gee hasn't it really shot up in price in such a short time span. Harvey Norman inflated price at work yet again. That's nearly $300 more than what it was going for just a few days ago.
