    • Not sure … remember the prices posted are after 20% discount.

      • Ah of course! Not sure how to edit/delete my comment!

    Hasn't started yet ):

    I'm guessing Wednesday now.

  • Can they sometimes start after 10AM or is it always on the dot ? should I stop watching now ?

    • +1

You should, as the original date was a guess, and now its been changed to Wednesday. I just hope BING LEE won't cancel this sale since OZBargainers busted them, and they won't be able to jack all the prices or put them all out of stock. The original page has got the 20% off promotion banner removed. very worrying.

      • Why can't they jack up prices or put out of stock? They can do whatever they want. It's not like ebay has rules against it.

        • The sale won't make sense if they put all out of stock. If they jack up prices, they'll be busted. Our hard working bargainers really cornered them this time.

  • Already after 10am I think we should put the NOT ACTIVE on the title.

  • I'd be very surprised if it starts today whilst the other ebay voucher promotion is still on.

    • Yup, they normally start after the other one finish.

Good luck for your exams :) I'm procrastinating on ozbargain lol

  • hey guys what's difference between v8 animal and v8 absolute?

    • +1

The V8 comes in two versions: the V8 Absolute and the V8 Animal. The Animal is the starting model and comes with one big motorised brush head, a crevice and combination tool and a smaller motorised head for cleaning the stairs and other bits. The Absolute also comes with the fluffy head for cleaning hard floors.

      • And HEPA filter.

        • +1

V8 animal and absolute both have HEPA filteration.

        • @Mellows:
That's new on the V8, I didn't notice is on the animal also. cheers

  • Would that Seagate hard drive be suitable for cracking open and installing in a ps4? I've heard some of the newer seagates have the connection to the USB cable soldered on, but I might be remembering incorrectly.

    • +1

Yes it will be fine, I'm actually in the process of upgrading a PS4 for a friend right now and am using this exact model drive.

      • Excellent, thanks. Sick of having to manage storage every time I get a new game. The stock HDD just doesn't cut it anymore.

  • +1

Thanks for your effort. It's awesome that someone even recorded before/after price jack.

v6 vs v8 dyson in a quick review

    https://youtu.be/hv0cJG_N2kE?t=5m27s

  • Anyone used the Miele Complete C3 powerlines vacuum cleaner? This any good?

    • Got mine recently and works very well!
For a proper clean we will only use this one from now. The Dyson is good enough for a quick clean.

  • +1

Jeez my bank account has been taking a hammering between this and the good guys deals

  • How do the LGs in this bargain compare to the Aldi Bauhn?

Wondering if twice the price means twice the performance and features?

Wait are these LGs 4k UHD?

  • Has anyone used the Dyson V6?

Battery life is claimed to be max 20mins. How true is that in real world experience?

    Thanks.

    • +3

Yes, 20 mins on normal power, 6 mins on boost. It is designed and marketed as a spot cleaning vacuum.

For people who do not want to constantly have to get their big vacuum for small quick clean ups but need one that is almost as strong as some mid-range corded vacuums. So you do your big thorough clean one day a week and then for the rest use the v6 for the odd job.

Some people who have smaller places or not as thorough cleaners in general actually use this as their main vacuum, it will just depend on your cleaning style.

Not everyone's cup of tea but it is there for people who do.

How come the prices still showing as original price? no any discounted price marked on the website?

    • +2

How come people ask stupid questions?
See the words "Not Active Yet"?
What do you think that could mean??

  • Need a split air-con now, any recommendations? Thx

  • +3

Thanks to lowlifesphere the coupon is CBING20. Starts 10:00am AEDT today.

    • Thanks, will update post now

  • Yep it's live, just grabbed a dyson V8

    • Same here!

      • Me too!

    • Howzabouta + for the deal then Mickoja :) .

I just grabbed a V8 too. Delivery in nearly a month??
Can you change it to pickup after ordering?

      • Done Whitey! Not sure you can change it, when I saw it was a month I opted to pickup….

        • Yeah I was in a hurry when I ordered and didn't even look till after.
Oh well, we still have the V6 anyway so it's no biggy.

    • I love looking at the sold list. starts at 10 and 45 sold since then.

  • +1

    Thanks ordered, Acer laptop.

  • We are after a new vacuum cleaner since ours died.

Which should we go for our of the below 2 options?

    Dyson V6 Handstick
    or
Miele - Complete C3 PowerLine Vacuum Cleaner

    • It depends on your house size, floor coverings etc.
If you have a medium house or bigger and you want a cordless replacement for a corded model, the V8 is the ticket imho.
If you don't mind doing a few rooms at a time between charging, the V6 will probably do.
The corded model will generally have more suction but it's way less convenient than the cordless.

      • Our house is medium sized but it's all floorboards, so with the corded we generally do it easily in under 20 minutes.. I assume we could do it in even less with cordless

No kids and 2 adults, pretty much all that's picked up is dog hair and female hair.. Haha.
I think the V6 would be fine, don't know if I can justify an extra $320 for something we probably wouldn't notice much difference with.

        Thanks for the reply

    • go for cordless dyson, you will never look back. The ease of cordless makes so much sense. Go for it.

      • Thanks for the reply, think I'll go for the V6.
I don't think the V8 would be enough of a difference to justify the extra $320

Our current is cordless and I hate using it, being cordless would be so much easier and hassle free!

        • I think v6 at this price makes v8 a rip off. Get 2 v6. :) I am running DC59 and V6 for 150m2 worth of floor space. No need to be on max, it cleans up good.

  • Dyson V8 Absolute and 2tb Seagate hard drive purchased! Cheers

  • Thanks guys… I bought Acer Aspire laptop and GoPro black camera. Anyone know best deal to buy SanDisk Extreme pro 128GB class 10 for the GoPro camera?

  • V8 purchased! Good Deal

    Estimated delivery Thursday, Nov 17, 2016 - Thursday, Nov 24, 2016

  • Does anyone know which V6 it is? Standard, Motorhead, Animal or Absolute?

I assume most likely Standard as it doesn't say anything, but wondering from anyone who has bought one from Bing Lee in the past.

Edit: Just checked the site, it's the standard. Motorhead is $498, Animal is $549, Absolute $648

  • So I've got a Dyson Corded DC35 Multifloor and I really want the cordless one.
My wife is abit iffy due to the cost of buying a new handstick.

    Do I
    - be conservative, sell the corded dyson and buy the V6 (live in a small townhouse) (net spend = $0)
    - be semi conservative, sell the corded dyson and buy the V8 Animal (Net spend $350)
    - be moderate, sell the corded dyson and buy the V8 absolute (Net Spend $429)
    - splurge, keep the corded dyson and buy the V8 Animal (Net Spend $599)
    - Super splurge, keep the corded dyson and buy the V8 Absolute (Net Spend $679)

    Thanks!

    • Super splurge and buy me a V8 Absolute! :)

    • +1

      yolo buy v8 absolute

    • +1

Why not slight splurge and get the V6 HS ($278), though it is out stock now at Bing, could have been a good middle ground for the both you?

  • Please note that the Dyson V8 Absolute has an estimated postage delivery of about 3 weeks time for me (Brisbane).
I bought it without reading closely.

  • Got the V8! Wicked discount, thanks for sharing ;)

  • Mr Lee no stock the chromecast audio!? 😞

  • I'm seeing in-store pickup only on a router I want to buy.

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-DLink-DIR-890L-AC3200-Ultra-W…

    DLink DIR-890L AC3200 - $358 ($286.40 with 20% off)

Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a workaround to get delivery to Queensland?

  • Just bought the Dyson V8 Absolute, Thanks for sharing.

  • I've just been given a tracking number for the V8 Absolute so hopefully the timeframes given were verrrrry broad and the item will be delivered much sooner.

    • +1

Yeah, mine is showing as sent too.
Only $10 for postage makes this an even better deal when you live 150km from the nearest store.

  • Bought the V6 cheers

  • Dyson V6 (main deal link) is sold out.

  • Makes me happy I was able to pick up the v6. Obviously a good bargain since it's the only thing talked about on this deal lol

    • None available now :(

      • +1

        That sucks

    • I think you'll find the V8 is mentioned as much, or more :) .

  • do you know if any of the stores like JB, goodguys would price match this?

    • With JB stores it does depend on the store and how profit orientated they are as a whole, had a bit of hit and miss with them when price matching and with Good guys similar scenario but I guarantee you they will not price match anything eBay, they will not even price match their own eBay account prices, they will make you order it online and choose to pick up in their store if they have it in stock when it comes to their own eBay account if you want the discount applied.

  • A heads up for people that want the v6.

    I believe it's relisted - Link
