  • not as good as virgin
but if u calculate it, its like $720 total so cheaper than buying outright from apple store

  • not bad, pity I dont know anyone works for telstra.

    • You don't have to, jut rock into a store and ask for the plan

  • manobik , would you have the handset repayments for the business plus plans?

    tks
    kogi

    • They will be published on the telstra business website

  • "You don’t have to, jut rock into a store and ask for the plan"

yes and you need to quote the code which (see above) is TF2OFFER

  • Wow… The Desire works out to $550, plus you get $240 worth of credit. Can the credit be used for data? Might stick the sim in my iPad…

    • You won't be able to stick the regular SIM in your iPad because your iPad only accepts a micro SIM, which is a physically different size.

      • Sounds a bit counter-intuitive… the sim card from a little phone is too big to fit inside the huge iPad…

      • You can if you cut it down in size (easily done).

    • $240 worth of credit will grant you an "amazing" 5MB/month (without a "data pack").
With a $120 (over 24mths) "data pack" you may utilise an "astounding" 70MB/month.

      • or you could use WiFi and avoid being ripped off

        • Except wifi is not everywhere

  • The link doesn't work for me. Google docs error?

    • same here…

      • Click the share link in the top left and email it to yourself.

  • i managed to see it. just click on 'download 27k'

  • If i sign up to the staff offer now and get a new number, can i change that number to my current number later on?

  • isn't this way cheaper then virgin ? 720 $ vs $ 840

  • Question:

So for HTC HD2. does it mean that I can just get into any Telstra shop and purchase it (phone only) at $720 without contract and line?

The website doesn't show this price.

    Cheers,

    Jacky

    • The header does say "Staff Handset RRP".
So if you are a staff member, sure.

    • Using the TF2 Offer, you have to pay $600 over 24mths. Unless of course, you can convince Telstra to let you pay $720 all at once. But that $120 saving is up to you. (As a staff member, you do appear to gain a $360 MRO credit discount, however? I assume this would be forcefully combined with a 24-month contract cap plan)

  • I assume all the handsets were in that list is locked to Telstra? So would need pay an unlock fee?

    • All telstra post paid handsets re completely unlocked.

The only exception is the iphone.

      • Oh so the iPhone would be locked? How much would it cost to unlock?

and just wondering how you know this information

        • +1

Oh so the iPhone would be locked?

          Yes

How much would it cost to unlock?

          $150

and just wondering how you know this information

          Because thats what telstra say.
