    • Mine took about 24 hrs to receive the acknowledgement and official Dell invoice.

    • I got it 1 minute ago, ~60 hours.

PayPal sent me a message yesterday…

      "Possible Delay in Shipping"
We've finished reviewing of the transaction below, determined the payment was authorised, and advised the seller to send the item(s).
There might be a slight delay in your delivery due to the review time.

  • Really wanna order one…!!! Any conclusion?

    • seriously me too…. been clicking in and out of this topic a hundred times… =/

      • Powered by 7th Gen Intel Core i7 Processor, that's the main reason come in here! lol!

  • +1
    1. Any idea how long do they actually take to deliver? Their estimate delivery is >2 weeks time.

    2. Anyone who ordered through ebay got a bill with gst separately mentioned?

    • I got my acknowledgement from Dell about 24 hrs after purchase. I ordered Tuesday afternoon - still hasn't been shipped. It does say my estimated delivery date is next Thursday though (10th).

And yes - the invoice they issued with acknowledgement had GST listed separately.

  • I received the Order Acknowledgement about ~48 hours after the order was placed, which included the line "We will email your Order Confirmation shortly with your Estimated delivery Date."

"Shortly" has come and gone 24 hours later, AFAIAC… anyone else still waiting for this, when ordering on 1/11?

    • Ordered on 1/11 and the order confirmation just came through 5 mins ago

      • Which city are you in and what is the estimated delivery date?

(I'm trying to decide if I have to cancel as I may not be in the country if they change the delivery from the eBay estimate.)

        • +1

          Dell estimated delivery date: 08/11/16
          eBay estimated delivery date: 09/11/16

I live on the Central Coast in NSW.

        • @triviums: Thanks for that. I got my order confirmation last night, late, and confirmation of shipping from ebay for 11-14 Nov, going to Perth. I can live with that. Hopefully there will be no delays. :)

  • I was tempted to but didn't need it. So I thought, if the new CBA credit card comes in one time before the sale ends, where I can get a $250 cashback for $500 spend, I'll pull the trigger.

But those clowns at CBA can't even issue a card. I provided the documentation they asked for when signing up. A week later I got a physical letter from CBA, expecting it was the card, but it was just a letter asking me to provide docs so they can decide whether to grant me the card, and that if I've already provided them I can safely ignore the letter. Really? They spent a whole week doing nothing? They have all the docs already and haven't got around to even deciding whether to give it to me or not.

When I applied for 28 degrees, and an AMEX issued card, I got my card within days, and they didn't ask for any documentation of pay slips and statements from other cards.

So I'm probably going to have to pass on this. Which is ok I guess. It was nice to have, but not essential. But getting the laptop for just over $1400….. Hmm.

  • Awesome! Thanks for the post :)

Just purchased it and will be claiming TRS in about 1 months time.

Hoping the famous 'coil whine' issue shouldn't be a problem, quite annoying that they still haven't fixed the issue.

Anyone interested in buying my old XPS 15 L501X from 2011?

  • Pulled the trigger at the 11th hour. literally.

  • Received today, about 5 days earlier than expected, perfect condition, no coil whine in evidence. Lovely little machine! :)

  • Just started noticing the coil whine on mine… However, it is extremely hard to hear though.
