Your description should inform your fellow OzBargain members how BuyMeStuff works. We come here for bargains, not your eponymous website.

  • Hi

    Hi PJC,

At BuyMeStuff, we are not a fixed pricing platform. You can ask for a much better deal compared to advertised price on BuyMeStuff from Local retailers and you can receive the best bargain. I have also updated the description with the below information. I hope this helps. The deals mentioned in the description are good bargains after $30 Cashback and you can ask for a much better deal on them as well.

Negging because Store Rep OP's description knowingly omits basic, highly relevant information crucial to determining whether this posting is indeed a bargain or a service. We come here for bargains, not advertisements.

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:deal_posting_guidelin…

Write a descriptive title & description
Please explain clearly what the deal is about:
      6. State any relevant terms & conditions, such as expiry date and any “hidden catches”.

Each deal should be specific to one store as far as possible. All deals posted for a store are listed on the appropriate store page, and the store page is often used by users to check for duplicates. If you have multiple deals from multiple stores, post them as separate deals so that other users can easily find them by store.

      • HI PJC,

I posted the link to the deals on top of the description so that you have access to the relevant bargains quickly. There is no intention to mislead anyone.

In this your 10th Store Rep posting you listed multiple deals from multiple stores and did not post them as separate deals in order to circumvent established posting limits and you want your fellow OzBargain members to consider that an opportunity. Have I got that right?

          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:store_representative#…
          Posting Limits
Currently there are some limits on how frequently a representative can post on OzBargain.
Maximum 1 deal per 24 hours
Maximum 2 deals per 7 days is the default, …

It does not take 22 months for a Store Rep to comprehend the Guidelines.

        • @PJC:

Store reps are free to list as many deals in a single post as they wish, they are all through Buymestuff website so that is fine, they aren't posting for separate stores as the transaction is done on the Buymestuff website. If you believe there is an issue with a deal post or you believe it's breaching guidelines then please report it in future don't negative vote the deal for an issue with the description/believed guideline breach. Guidelines

          Thanks

        • @hamza23: That was inadequately explained in the original unamended description. Basic, relevant information was knowingly omitted and prospective customers were instead invited to discover it on vimeo. OP offered an unexplained service, and listed as bargains items OP never stocks which are in shops we always knew about.

        • @PJC:

          Understood, as mentioned:

          Inappropriate uses of negative vote:

Incorrect or missing information in title or description

Use the report button in that case, although the OP resolved that shortly after.

          Thanks

        • @hamza23: As ever I accede to your superior knowledge, and I thank you for your patience.
