  • OMG nicely picked up xD currently downloading FIFA 10, FIFA 10 worldcup, Madden NFL 10 and NBA Live

    • Whats the difference between FIFA 10 and FIFA 10 worldcup?

      • FIFA world cup is based on FIFA 10 but with WC makeover. The controls interface is slightly tweaked, though it feels more casual since it tells you when you can make through pass and stuffs instead of giving you the freedom to do it whenever you want (even if it fails).

The spectators are now 3D (actually uglier).

Overall they're very similar, just with different flavour.

  • Nice, was just about to post this.

Can finally use up some of my damn leftover credit. Been 2.77 for the last 15 months.

EDIT: Just picked up Red Alert and NFS Shift.

  • lol… I went all out… bought the following to add further anticipation for my iphone 4 purchase:

    Command & Conquer: Red Alert
    FIFA 10
    FIFA World Cup
    Need for Speed Shift
    Need for Speed Undercover
    SimCity
    NBA Live
    Tiger Woods PGA Tour
    Battleship
    Connect 4
    Cluedo
    Yahtzee

  • I bought all of them, some i dont even know what they are.. like yahtzee… wat the?. lol.
at this price, u gotta catch em all!

    • lol yeah, I don't know what yahtzee is either!

      • You don't know what Yahtzee is!?

        • some board game, but never played it and don't know what's involved!

          • +3

@applebyte: You guys must be too young to not know what Yahtzee is.

  • I only bought NFS: Shift.

    • +2

      Get NFS: Undercover too ;)

      • I will now that the internetz is uncapped :D

  • I've had Battleship for a while now and it's one of my most played games. Definitely worth a buck!

Connect 4 is OK but the computer kicks my ass.

Beware: Cluedo is crap. Save your bandwidth and your dollar on that one.

  • Guys, if you're downloading most of them, remember you can save even more by buying an itunes card on special (save an extra 20-25% usually)

    • Yeah, bought mine at 25% off.

      • Wow that makes it 90 cents a game, damn that's cheap.

    • Any shops on special currently?

  • -1

aw cool, need for speed hot pursuit for xbox 360!
loved the playstation 1 version, even though this won't exactly be the same.

    oh yeah and.. cool deal.

    • lolwut

    • its not hot pursuit!? its undercover… big difference…

      • If you go to the website, it's advertising Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. Did you check out the linked website? That's what I was referring to. THEN I mentioned that this deal is a good deal.

        • of course the website is, the game is coming… so your post was completely unrelated to this whole topic… well done sir :P

  • Great find to with my k-mart cheapie itunes vouchers.

Wonder if they will make us pay/upgrade for iPhone 4G versions, like with iPad.

    • +1

Well the ipad is a different platform, so it's kind of excusable… but to charge us again for the same program on the same platform just so it's optimised a little? I certainly hope not! (and very much doubt they would do that)

      • They won't. They do massive sales to rocket up their popularity and the whole supply demand thing means they bring in more $$. People buy as they know it's temporary. SO 1000s of people buy an app they may not use because it's cheap. This thread is a perfect example of this. I did it too.
However it's the same version that you bought for $1.19 that I bought for $9.99 a while ago and therefore we won't be slung with extra costs.

      • The iPad is an iPhone with higher resolution. I can't excuse it :D

In the end consumers vote with their wallets.

        I voted with mine.

Didn't buy a single thing until cheap iTunes vouchers came out.

Even then, only bought Reeder. Nothing else is good value.

Snapped up a few of these EA titles, because they have always been $10 and seemingly popular, the chance of playing these on the native retina display resolution and paying only $1.19? Slim. But worth hoping for!

haha ive still got itunes credit left over from last years BigW half price itunes cards. Bought $320 worth of cards for $160

  • Anyone know when the sale started?

    • already has :)

  • Balls, looks like its over.

    • You scared me, I just checked on my iPhone and on the Top25 they are still listed as $1.19.

EDIT: Darn, it appears the bulk of them have reverted to their old prices :(

  • Don't forget itunesonesale publishes iTunes card sales as they happen, here's the latest current one:

    http://www.itunesonsale.com.au/2010/06/20-off-itunes-gift-cards-at-dick-smith-until-2nd-july/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:+itunesonsale+(iTunes+On+Sale!)

  • I can't believe as I started to purchase them the prices changed! Teaches me for doing it at 3am
