REBFRENZY

Another great early Frenzy offer with 20% off sitewide at Rebel. Apply coupon REBFRENZY at checkout. Remember to use your AmEx offer for a further $20 off when you spend $100. Enjoy :)

Here's the full list of 10,498 items from low to high

Get a further 4% @ Cashrewards

I have just been made aware that double cashback to 8% was only available from Nov 8 to Nov 14 inclusive. The rate dropped back to 4% at midnight, so those fortunate enough to purchase via Cashrewards when the deal was posted had 4 hours at 8%. For the Frenzy event, the rate was always meant to go back to 4%, it's just that I missed the comms from Rebel. Apologies for my error.

Don't forget to use your Amex for the $20 cash back for $100 spend.

      Thank you. Added to OP.

you might as well remove the amex reference. The maximum amount of enrolled cards has been reached

Is this online only? Or in store as well

    • +2

that killed it…$19 delivery charge. Can't seem to find a way for pick up

      • You could order the item you're after plus something else that takes the order > $99. That'll get you free shipping, then return the unwanted "shipping buffer" item in store for a refund.

        • certain items incur shipping charges regardless. Eg. the nike soccer balls

        • -3

So your idea is spend more money to have them ship something to you that you need to return in order to qualify for free shipping.

That's some wack shit right there.

        • @Diji1: "Can't seem to find a way for pick up" - so they're prepared to go to the store, but can't pick it up. Therefore they could add more items to get free shipping and get item they want. Then simply return the unwanted items in-store. It's not that wack.

    • I'm keen to know this too.. saw an item in store on the weekend that in not available online for delivery… (dart board set)

      • Exactly my issue too. Spoke to the online team and they refused to offer free shipping for an item that wasnt available in any of their stores.

  • Nice! Thanks man.

Got the Spalding TF1000 Basketball ($129.99) for 103.99, plus $20 Amex Cash back and 8% cash rewards ($8.32).
    Total Cost of $75.67!

    Edit: + Free Shipping

    • you are tempting me.

    • TF1000 is coming up as $140 for me.

How does the Molten GF7X compare for indoor use?

      • I use the GF7 and it is pretty good to use.

I don't have mad handles nor a knockdown stroke but the ball feels good on the release.

        • I agree the GF7 is decent, but was wondering how it compares to the TF1000.

Anyway, I just purchased the GF7X which I think is the replacement for the GF7.

I added a couple packs of socks to bump it up to $130 to get the free shipping and Amex offer.

        • +1

          @JB1:
GF7X is good. Its probably the most used ball going around. The TF1000 typically feels like a bigger ball and heavier ball despite being official weight and size. I think the GF7X has deeper grooves and so tends to drop easier. The grip IMHO of the TF1000 is superior and so is superior for dribbling and passing.

Some people find it harder to shoot with the TF1000 if they over-inflate. Both are good quality.

        • @mriethmuller:

Thanks, I decided to get the GF7X as it can also be used outdoor.

        • @JB1:

Abit more shinier and sleek , whereas the GF7 is the typical indoor ball with a more grippy, leathery feel. The GF7X I think is a lot more grippier than some smooth/almost slippery outdoor balls IMO, but if you're going to use it almost indoor I'd definitely get an all leather indoor only ball like GF7.

        • @SaberX:

I thought the GF7 is also an indoor/outdoor ball.

The GF7 is discontinued and was replaced by the GF7X.

        • @JB1:

If it's the ball I think it is, the GF7 is what everyone seems to own at the more intermediate level as it's the NBL or something official ball (FIBA?) . Not sure on specifics. But I am pretty sure it was an indoor ball and the GF7X which one of the guys bought that we play with, was the indoor/outdoor version and completely separate?

Hadn't heard of GF7 being phased out, as so many pplz have it I thought it was just a staple that they keep producing? Someone who keeps up with the news/happenings may have a better idea though?

        • @SaberX:

First 2 google searches are saying that the GF7X replaces the GF7, which you can't buy anymore.

        • @JB1:

odd to replace an all indoor with a multi surface ball though? :O

      • +1

I think you're looking at the legacy ball. They look identical, one just has some extra gold writing on it.
        Here's the 129.99 version:

I've been looking at getting a bike, but don't know jack. I've been attempting research but… anyone with expertise care to weigh in? I plan on using it on a trainer indoors.

    • depends on budget, frequency of use and type of riding you want to do

      • A few hundred bucks (say max $500), a few times a week to every day (for half an hour to an hour), pretty much only indoors on a trainer.

So I'm not looking for anything fancy. I'm guessing the choice doesn't really matter that much, given my limited use case, but I thought I'd ask. I wanted an exercise bike, but wasn't keen on any of the options and their lack of reviews, so the trainer + bike is my way around that.

        • trainers are a pain…

Also have to consider the cost of the trainer on top of the bike. I could almost guaranty you will regret it and the space it takes up due to never being used

Just an opinion from experience…others may say otherwise.

Maybe look out for 2nd hand, much better chance of picking up something with little use

        • @slipperypete: Already bought the trainer, so… haha. Why are they a pain?

        • Riding on a trainer is just a bit boring but is a good workout without constant stopping!. Need to put on a video/show of choice to speed up time…

        • +1

@mrtin: My job is data entry, I think I can handle boring ;)

Looks like Rebel doesn't stock any bikes in my area anyway, so I'll have to go Amart Sports instead. Thanks for the input.

        • @mrtin: not this time Lance https://youtu.be/6gItPTBGMz0

    • Hmmmm. I've got a bike but am interested in a trainer. Not sure how much they cost though. Any advice?

      • +1

I'm not all that knowledgeable about them in practice. I got a Jetblack Z1 Pro from Gumtree for $220, which is about half of retail. There seemed to be a few of them on there, so I'd recommend giving it a go. I got a fluid trainer because they seemed to be the best (for my uses, anyway). Mainly because they're supposed to be the quietest. Jetblack seems like a well-regarded brand and didn't cost an arm and a leg, so starting there might be a good idea.

  • The only thing I really want is not in stock :/ I really wanted nike metcon 2 mens in black and they've been out of stock since last 20% off special :/

    • Is this for Crossfit

      • They're versatile workout shoes and yes they can be used for crossfit. I just want decent shoes for heavier squats and deadlift but something I can do box jumps and sprints in as well…

        • +1

I have the metcon 2 for squats. love them!

  • Any good deals on cycling shorts?

Thank you. I was wondering why my purchase (included some dumbbells) included $39.95 shipping. I decided not to go through with the purchase. If only they had click and collect!

  • Hey guys, what dart board would u pick from rebels? Thanks

  • Where is the 20% advertised? I need a screenshot for price protection.

  • sign had a few things in my cart, then missed the amex cashback.

with shipping and no amex not worth it…they lose my sale

  • WIth free shipping and $20 AMEX, get onto those Metcon 2's!

    • they don't have black color in normal sizes. Other colours are terrible

      • The red and white i own, it's a good colour. Would buy the green/yellow ones if Amex was still on

    • amex is finished.

  • Coupon + AMEX + CR = Win

Website says "Sorry, this product is not available for delivery" on a lot of items yet still gives you the option to add to cart and checkout.

    • I'm going to bet something's going wrong and they're overselling stock.

  • I'm very surprised you didn't link to the items in order of savings % :P

    • Cheers mate - some two hundred dollar shoes and a few extras came down to $104 total, only $4 more than I needed for Amex and free shipping.

  • No Click & Collect options?

  • It's ridiculous why this offer wouldn't be available in store! I can understand about ebay offers, but this is on their own website. I see no reason why wouldn't this offer be valid in their stores.

    • +1

You think charging more and hence making more money is "no reason".

      OK

  • Nice triple dip deal TA :)

    Thank you TA. Quadruple deal.
Bought authentic Asics Kayano 23 down to around $135 (after member, Code, Amex, CR) delivered, from $259.

      Eatwell Wins. FATALITY.

  • Forgot my cash back yet again

  • Was asking my sister who's pretty high up there in Supergroup for a discount just yesterday. She couldn't get anywhere close to the 20% off + CR + Amex deal I purchased my item for today! Crazy deal, again, nice work TA

  • Argh! The item I've been tracking across a few sites over the last few weeks (including Rebel) is now mysteriously not listed on the Rebel site.

  • +1

So $125 to trigger the AMEX CC offer after discounts?

  • D'oh, shipping kills the gym benches!

  • Can anyone comment on their shipping methods and times? I've read a few things about how bad the couriers they use are and I'm unsure whether to trust them with it.

    • I made an order on Tuesday night of 6 different items(Boxing mitts and shirts) and got notifications that some of the items had been shipped out via Fastway Couriers yesterday(and the rest today-Although in two different shipments which is odd). Just got home and theres a "Sorry I missed you" card asking me to collect from the nearest pick-up point.

  • This one a good bike to get? http://www.rebelsport.com.au/Product/Nitro-Men-s-Traverse-Bi…

Looking for something cheap and decent quality.

  • I actually successfully submit an order yesterday but got declined today. I was told by customer service that I submitted the order via overseas (because I was in company VPN). They also told me they can't manually process my order in the phone by providing the credit card info and I have to place a new order to reprocess it.

Then I tried to place a new order by two different amex issue cards and directly failed with "Payment validation failed. Unfortunately your payment method has been declined."
Called customer service and was advised to pay with paypal, which I can't get 100-20 !
I suspect they are now intentionally blocking AMEX payments.

Same card works with davidjones without issue.

  • First time I have used cashrewards. See if it works as I am a bit skeptical.

Purchased Skins which weren't selectable as Flesh Tone but have sent a Rebel after I still went ahead and placed the order for 20% off hoping they can manually change it or 3 returns I will have to make in store and be disappointed. I know they sell the same short in flesh tone for the same money as I have seen them last week in store.

    Thanks for posting!
