Hi guys,

Thought I would list some wine bundles as BWS is having a 25% wine sale and there are some great promotions on C&C.

Will provide regular pricing, with the $5 voucher and with the AMEX included as well.

Beer Deals

Spirit Deals

If you need to make up an extra $10 to reach the AMEX/Coupon limits then when spending over $28 you can get items for $10. My picks are the Bundy Lazy Bear, Food Truck Chardonnay and Henkel Troken Piccolos.

  • Wrong link for Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Cider - should be https://bws.com.au/product/882906/angry-orchard-crisp-apple-…

    • Am I missing something? it is coming up as 2 cases for $110 or $55 each in general

      • Unfortunately the price must have increased overnight. They used to be on reduced special for $39 a carton.

        • bummer, thanks anyway mate! I bought a couple of cases of them before and really enjoyed them. for $39 I would have bought more, but not at $55.

        • -

    • Thanks, the price must have updated overnight.

Didnt know you were associated with BWS :)
        Becks is a good price

        • +1

Yep been working there for about a year. Great company and people to work for :)

I do post a few alcohol bargains from different stores as Ozbargainers deserve the best value.

        • +1

@ShamelessBargains: Yea, Hope that does not bother in your office :)

        • I picked up a slab of Becks at my local BWS using this deal and to my sheer surprise and delight it was the imported stuff. Winning!

        • @billy_bob: Yea, I have always seen Becks to be imported. Not great, but this price makes it awesome deal.

        • @Gaggy: "Not great" …. I don't think you have tried the imported version then. You know that Becks is also brewed locally and most places only have the local version which is way inferior.

        • @billy_bob: I have taken them couple of times mate and I am sure they were imported. I like Coopers, 100 lashes, Fatyak…

        • @Gaggy: Hey, I like them too ;) but they are not $29…..Becks at $29 (with voucher and AMEX) is unbeatable I reckon.

        • @billy_bob: Hahaha. Spot on mate. Thats what I said earlier, the price makes it an awesome deal. Better than bottle of water ;)
Enjoy your drink. I am trying to get away from Beers now and getting back to Single malts else I would have got them as well.

  • Thanks!

    • You are most welcome, I hope you can find something :)

  • Quick question: is the lazy bear white or dark rum?

    • White rum, very easy drinking :)

      • +1

Thanks mate, not a fan of dark rum so that's good to know

        • It's mid strength too.

  • $35 for Captain Morgan's Black Rum and Food Truck Shiraz after discounts. Pretty bloody good!

  • +1

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but Riddoch Varieties 6 for $67.50 isn't working for me. I'm seeing $18.66/bottle ($111.96 for 6) starting point.

    • Yes you are right, there has been price increases on both Riddoch Varieties and Parker Estate Varieties. At time of posting, they were both cheaper and stacked with the 25% wine discount.

  • Penfolds Bin 2 for $20 a bottle is phenomenal! Thanks!

    • +1

Funny that once added to cart, it shows $32 each!

      • Not sure why it is coming up as $32, it is on as a supersaver for $30 in-store and pricing should be the same.

        • +1

It becomes $32 as soon as added to cart, is it a state specific thing? I am based in NSW

        • +1

@victorheaven: Nope, should be $30 when added to cart. Have sent them a pm, hope to get this clarified soon.

        • +1

          @ShamelessBargains:

          Thanks buddy!

        • +2

@victorheaven: Just got a reply from the rep:

I have been informed that this website issue will be fixed in 24hrs, I have escalated to the proper channels for fixing.

        • +1

          @ShamelessBargains:
2 Bottles of Bin 2 still coming up as $32 at checkout :(

Maybe I should take a small hit on quality, save $14 and go for the 30L of Berri for $40 instead? :)

        • @AlexG: Bin 2 is such a nice drop though. I am still hopeful they will reduce the price in cart today.

30L of Berri is a lot of wine, will last awhile especially if you add some soda water :)

        • +1

          @ShamelessBargains:

Hmm.. looks like they are taking the time fixing the price..

Still $32 a bottle after more than 24 hours.

        • @victorheaven: Hmm it puzzles me too, just send the rep another message. Hoping they update it soon…

        • +1

@victorheaven: Price has been updated, shows up as $30 in cart now. Thanks again for pointing this out earlier :)

        • +1

          @ShamelessBargains:

          Thanks buddy, ordered. :)

  • Baileys 1L is currently $35 at BWS ($34.95 at DM), so picking up 2 of those with $5 off and then $15 cashback = $25 per bottle, pretty decent.

    • +1

Wow great buying, will add to deal :)

    • Also have you ever tried the Bailey's Chocolat luxe? Its very smooth but approaching best before…

      • hi, can you please let me know how we can tell something is near its best before date when searching the site? thank you

        • +1

I don't think you can unfortunately. Best bet would be to call store / ask in-store before placing an online order.

  • Gage Roads Atomic Pale Ale is a pretty good beer for $37 a carton after C&C and AMEX discount.

    • +1

Yes it is a quality beer, have you tried the Summer Ale? It's my pick :)

  • I saw a comment about the Heineken cans being short dated - how common is this?

  • Bottom of my Woolies docket is offering 12x DOS Equis for $20.

    So 3 of them, -$5 -$15

    36 bottles for $40.

    • Can that be combined with online purchases?

    • +1

Do you have a code for that? I believe the Cashback only works online.

    • Unfortunately the docket receipt rewards can only be redeemed in-store currently. Hopefully in future, they can also be redeemed online.

      • +1

Oh ok,bummer! The barcode number wont be accepted in the promo code box?

        • Worth a try but I don't believe it will accept it. Also not sure if coupons stack in the promo box.

        • @ShamelessBargains: Can you stack coupons inshore

eg say wanted 24 Dos Equis have voucher that says 12 for $20.

          1. Use 2 vouchers?
          2. Use 1 Voucher twice?

Your wisdom could save instore embarrassment.

          Thanks

          @RockyRaccoon:

Ok best bet would be to buy the 2 x 6 packs first. Then get the receipt from them and purchase another 2 x 6 packs off the new receipt. That's what I suggest to customers anyway :)

One of those times I wish I owned more AMEX cards. Some great deals here OP!

    • Haha too true, tried to find a deal to suit everyone :)

  • What is the best AMEX to apply for?

  • Little Creatures Rogers for $44 (after 15 + 5) - it is only mid-strength though.

Boozle is listing the cheapest in my area at $57.90 at DMs.

  • +1

Ended up paying $33.32 which is 1.68 cheaper than Dan Murphy's offer (need to buy another apple cider to add up to 50).

  • awesome writeup! thanks for sharing

    • Glad I could help :)

  • any suggestions for cider, moscato, port/tawny, muscat, or even dessert wine deals?

    • +1

Somersby Cider 10 packs are 3 for $54 and Rekorderlig Strawberry Limes 4 packs (330ML) are $16 and Herrljunga Cider Varieties 500ml are 3 for $10.

Grant Burge Aged Tawny is 2 for $25 and Galway Pipe 12YO Tawny is $32 per bottle.

Not really seeing many deals in moscato/muscat/dessert wine. You can do a mix & match and get 25% off any 6 unless they are already on special.

      Hope this helps :)

      • +1

        thanks heaps man!

yeah I saw the somersby 10 packs are $20. would normally get it from DM but the Amex + $5 off make it slightly better. Pity no cashrewards with BWS though.
