18% off Hotels (Prices in USD) @ Cheaptickets

590
VACAYBIG

18% of qualifying hotels booked through Cheaptickets for stays before March 31 2017. Note, you can use the coupon twice! I've been booking almost exlusively through them as I've generally found them to have the same price as everyone else but with better discount coupons. Saved me at least $200 USD for my current trip. See below terms and conditions

VACAYBIG
Subject to the restrictions set out in these terms and conditions, the 18% promotion code may be applied to a qualifying stand-alone hotel (not a hotel booking in combination with any other product such as flight + hotel, or flight +hotel + car) booked online with cheaptickets.com between November 21, 2016 12:01AM CT and November 29, 2016 11:59PM CT, for 1 or more nights for travel between November 21, 2016, and March 31, 2017. Qualifying bookings instantly receive 18% off at check-out through the use of the promotion code. Limit one discount per hotel room and one promotion code per itinerary. Customer limited to two redemptions per promotion code and up to a maximum savings of $150 per booking. Exclusions may apply and most major hotel chains are excluded. The promotion code cannot be redeemed against taxes, supplier fees, cancellation or change fees/penalties, administrative fees or other miscellaneous charges, which are the sole responsibility of the customer. Discounts are not redeemable for cash for any reason. Promotion codes are non-transferable, not for resale, and cannot be combined with other offers or used for any booking previously made. Any attempt at fraud will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Void where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. Cheaptickets reserves the right to change or limit the promotion in its sole discretion. Usual booking terms and conditions apply (see https://www.cheaptickets.com/p/info-other/legal.htm) and all bookings are subject to availability.

Yeah I book almost exclusively through them also… Except when some hotels don't work with the discount :(

    • Yep, though I've found less and less hotels not being able to be booked with these coupons.

  • Where do you enter the code???

    • Found it. Need to pay in full to be able to use a discount voucher.

Nice… need a code for May though. Might just go with Expedia or Agoda

    • Got any coupons for those sites?

      • +1

If you download the agoda APP on android it seems to give you a once off coupon for 10%

Too be honest, it works out to be about 15% cheaper and then the bank puts through a conversion fee. so my question, is it really worth it when wotif offers 12% cash back as it is?

    • Right now it would save around $40 AUD using PayPal conversion rates compared to wotif for the hotel i'm looking at so…

    • I booked a hotel for 2 nights which was $AUD280 in total on all the major sites. I used this code and paid with Bankwest Zero Platinum, all up $AUD221.62 == 20.85% off.

You are on ozbargain and don't have a 28 degree master card to avoid conversion fees?

I guess by the votes this is clearly helping some people but Cheap Tickets basically always run a 18% off code just the code changes every week and is published on their website.

    • 100% agree, I only posted it because I noted that no one had yet. I figure not everyone may be aware of their ongoing coupon code availability.

  • I just got an email that there's a 20% off code but for only 3 hours

    HAPPYHOUR20

Can't find T&Cs for it and on the email it only says 5-8PM. Assuming it's in CT like their other codes, that would be 10AM-1PM AEDT today (Thursday).

Edit: I just tried it right now (3AM) and it seems to be working, so don't quote me on that AEDT time I wrote above. Seems like a max of $150USD discount too even though it says "Coupon applied: Save 20% on select hotel stays on Cheaptickets- HAPPYHOUR20".

Edit v2.0: Seems like VACAYBIG gives the same $150USD discount too..

  • I booked my Singapore hotel with them, just be careful with the conversion rate, I contacted them whilst booking online to check the rates in AUD. When I saw my credit card statement, I was charged $28 extra on what I was informed.

For future reference only you can know what you will pay as they are not converting it for you, you are.

If you want to be exact, check your credit card type for example master card, check the master card conversion rate, then pay in USD.

You will pay that price + your card fees.

Thats why its better to get a 28 degrees card with no fees.

  • Just received the 'Sorry, your hotel isn't covered by this coupon offer.' message on 4 different hotels in Brisbane.

I've stayed at 2 of these hotels before using previous 18% discount codes, so no idea what's changed.

Same here, trying to book a hotel and get the same message for the ones I'm trying :( Haven't booked these exact hotels before, but I've made several other bookings earlier with 18% off and never had a problem

Wow this site is amazing, I got an awesome price for H Hotel in Darwin, just $67 a night. $93 a night on ALL the other sites. Now that's sorted, time to find some accommodation for Thailand!
