Hi all

Cheap update for anyone looking to upgrade a desktop. If your in Melbourne some stores like Centrecom have it for $114 so I would spend the extra $15 for an easy return, for the rest of us that need to pay postage this isnt a bad deal.

  • Would love DDR3-1600 or better though. =)
A good price for DDR2-800 nevertheless, as supply for DDR2 slowly decreases over the newer DDR3.

      Dude I'm still on DDR 1 if there's such a thing =P
      6 y.o. comp =P

      • I think my current comp is using DDR1 as well, hence why I need DDR3 to match that GA-H55M-S2H from yesterday from a HTPC project =P

  • WTF?
They first put an i7 on sale and then a GA-H55M-S2H which doesn't support the CPU and then here comes a 4 GB 800MHz DDR2 ram.

Agreed, it doesn't make sense at present. If it was something like i3 540, 4GB 1600MHz DDR3 ram would make more sense as parts for a whole system. Guess they can't offer certain things since they have to deal with what their suppliers have larger quantities first.

  • not a big saving for us with access to local store/MSY, but for some country town it is…

    • MSY is selling this for $118 ? That'd be ~20% saving and free shipping and not waiting in line at MSY.

  • Come on! Put up a kickass graphics card for ~$200 next! I need it for my new monitor! :D
