why did you get down voted…?

        For posting a stupid comment?

It's a shame we have no idea where their factory is:

    • +9

How much $$ do businesses need to donate to Oxfam to be on the 'nice' list

      • Ask ASOS. They clearly fell short this year.

      • +1

It's a poorly explained list, yes, but it's not corrupt.

If you have a credit/debit card that doesn't charge currency fees, pay in Russian Rubles. My $46 order last week came to $38 in RUB. Still got the free shipping as I guess ASOS consider it over $40.

    • I'll give that a go! I know paying in GBP lowers it.

    • +2

Careful, KGB spies may be reading this; can't be devaluing their currency…

    • +2

For comparison, my order of 2 polo shirts:

      (straight) AUD $90.00
      GBP = AUD $77.56
      RUB = AUD $74.41

Russian is stronk choice overall :)

  • +17

Change the default currency to Russian Roubles

For an item costing $63 (AUD currency default):

    • 32.37 Pounds: PayPal conversion = AU$56.95
    • 2,482.40 Russian roubles: PayPal conversion = AU$54.81

    Edit: Beaten

    • I used GBP last time on Frenzy click sale and worked as well.

    • Then Paypal has to convert Roubles to AUD and their conversion rates aren't good for you

      • Dude, just get a fee-free card like the 28 Degrees MasterCard. I'm kicking myself for not doing this years ago, it's brilliant. You're basically throwing away money if you don't, especially now that most banks are adding their own stupid foreign currency charges even for "overseas" AUD transactions.

  • +8

Shame it's not the recent 30% off.

  • +6

so the clickfrenzy 30% deal is better right?

    • +6

Yes! But this is good enough for fools like me who missed it.

      • +1

I am also in that boat haha.

  • +1

I miss the 30% off Frenzy Click Sale now.

  • +3

even with the 30% off the things were not that cheap, I got a decent buy (item was already on sale, plus extra 30% and I paid in GBP) but nothing amazing. Could have got a size smaller but couldn't be bothered waiting for returns etc.

    • I keep an eye on the leather jackets after Frenzy Clicks these days. Seems they kept increasing the prices. The prices are higher than before even after applied a 20% off:(

    • What are some examples of things that are very cheap?

Good opportunity for those who bought items in the wrong sizes on the 30% sale :) … like me.

    • Thought I was the only one

  • Thanks OP, the jacket I wanted didn't have my size during the frenzy sale.

  • +4

don't forget 5.5% cashback through cashrewards

  • Is this on top of already discounted items?

  • Isn't paying in rubles (and therefore having to shop through the Russian website) going to mean the documentation arriving with my product will be in Russian and the returns process therefore made a bit more complicated?

    • +1

You don't need to shop through the Russian website, stick with the Aussie site and just change the currency.

  • Thanks. Got some suits pants.

  • 28 Degrees charge no international fee, however what about currency fees? I'm sure most credit cards charge this.

    • No currency conversion fees. Same as Coles Mastercard

      • Any idea if the new ANZ travel card offers no currency conversion fees?

        • I have no idea sorry. I don't currently use products from any of the Big 4 banks.
