57k points are worth much more than $350 in my opinion. 60k points is enough for a one way flight to Japan or HK in business class. That is a $2,000 flight when on sale. I would rather pay cash for the watch and save my points for much more valuable flights. Not everyone would agree - only if you collect these points for flight rewards.

Also the watch is currently $630 at Myer.

  • Why oh why can't they just have a little window showing the date.
On this one, the red hand points to the dates printed around the dial.

    28,752 points + $332.09… wow, that's pretty expensive

    • just use points

  • Agreed. 57500 points is worth more than $350. Looking at a gift voucher on the Qantas shop it might be close, but if you use them for flights it is worth way more.

Brisbane to HK return is 56000 points plus airport taxes, and the tickets are about $1200 return and the airport taxes are not $850.

The same watch is $630 at Myer, and they are probably not the cheapest around, so if you were going to use the FF points for a flight, buying the watch with $ is far cheaper.

    • not sure how much is the taxes, but guessing is around $250, so 350+250 is 600, and believe is a stander price for Cathy Pacific return HongKong..and I can fly from Adelaide.
I mainly fly to China, and just handle 11-12 hours strait flight, much prefer fly with Cathy or Singapore air line that I can have a break in the middle.
Believe the points could worth heaps more when Qantas has specials, and fly business class.
