Puhlease! Quick search of Victoria's Basement shows equivalent sets to be selling for around the $120 mark. Doubt this horrible pastel colour would increase that value by more than 2 times. Anyone who is posting their prices compared to David Jones loses credibility immediately.

I am sorry but you are wrong!
Before you post anything, please get your facts right first.
Victoria's Basement is a different one, it is called Eco line. Sorry, but there is no comparison.
The range we carry is our best selling selection, the knife blades are 1.5mm sharpened and highly polished. The Eco line and line from Dubost is a lesser finish. The knife blades are 1.2mm and micro serrated, the items are not polished and hand wiped to the same extent as our regular range. The Eco line ranges are of a similar quality to the other French makers - such as Verdier and Loiuse Thieres.
I saw these in person one day and thought to myself, thats some ugly arse shit thats gonna be hard to clean.
Then I thought, I wonder how much these are…, laughable!

I got these on catch of the day for $80 and with salad spoons all in red - looks way better. don't have a problem cleaning them oh and they don't bend, i don't suppose if you have noticed with cheaper spoons scoping out ice cream they bend. This is way over priced for them.

I did to be exact i brought it 19-12-2014, unfortunately they don't offer them anymore. Psst everyone, else your getting this as a wedding gift or something this is an insane price to spend on spoons, knives and forks. Which makes my next question, how are you able to get it so cheap compared to major retailers. This makes it a bit questionable how you got these….
