Can anyone suggest an Amex issued card which has no yearly fees.
I got my home loan through NAB and they gave me an AMEX without yearly fees.
I already have an amex with commonwealth. There are certain deals only available to Amex issued card holders.
Note to self Amex issued not Bank issued.
Have had my Essential card for the past few weeks and it's been great for all these deals and no annual fee. Make sure you go through the Ozbargain referral page because you get $75 back if you spend $750 in 3 months (easy) as opposed to the regular $50 back, and you also help out an Ozbargainer

There are 3 free cards to choose from:
Amex Essential - provides highest cash-equivalent rewards among the 3, and most flexible cashback. For full details about this card, see my post here
Qantas Discovery - best if you are collecting Qantas FF Points for redeeming flights. Points, if used for flights, are often valued at 1c/pt or more, equivalent to a reward rate of 1% or more.
Velocity Escape - best if collecting Velocity points.

That's because it's only available for NEW Amex issued cards only. It's a standard offer that appears after you activate your Amex issued card. The offer is valid for 1 month from the time of activation.
@naruto111: I am a new Amex customer, so you could be right. However there was no mention of this in the t & c.

There doesn't need to be any mention in the T&Cs because it is only made available to new cardholders. You cannot see it unless you have a new card. Not a deal.

No worries. Enjoy your Amex. There will be plenty of great deals for existing card holders as well. Shame you just missed out on the Shop Small offer.
