Every time I select my address from the auto-fill, I get 'Sorry! We are unable to validate that address. Please enter a valid address to continue.'

What am I meant to do, move house?

    Terrible UX.

    • I've had that sometimes with some of these setups if I try to use my PO Box.

Although the suburb is "Greenhills", Australia Post stuffed up a few years ago and put it in their system (which links up to these auto-fill setups) as "Green Hills" so if I put Greenhills in, the system chucks it out.

      • I tried that too. But if I enter my home address (which doesn't have a mailbox anyway) I get the same error. So it's useless.

        • I didn't mean if the address was a PO box, just that the suburb (in my case anyway) is spelt incorrectly in the system so I have to use the AP spelling.

ok, but I can't think of any other way to spell my suburb 'Adelaide'

        • @zzymurgy: Is it Adelaide, or a suburb of Adelaide?

I don't know, but I have heard of some systems kicking addresses out if people say Sydney when the system is looking for the suburb (IE: 1 Whoknowswhere Street, Liverpool, Sydney). They system wants Liverpool - not Sydney.

Is it not even accepting and picking up, or offering option, on your actual address after typing the first line in? It should be.

Around here, if people put in Maitland, when it should be Green Hills (even though Greenhills is part of Maitland) the system will not accept it.

        • @whodidthat:
I live in the middle of Adelaide CBD. My house is 110 years old. The address even comes up in the autocomplete. But somehow it's still invalid.

        • @zzymurgy: Very odd!

I'll go on Optus for 28 days and woolies the month after … and back to optus when they have $10 prepaid $30credit again XD

    • Optus make it harder and harder for me to register a new account these days, I must have about 10.

5 day delivery and $2 delivery charge kills it, better off with the Coles deal in the long run

  • I can't find the offer page anymore, did they get rid of it before the 8th of Jan?

    • Looks like they took it down early :/
