    it doesnt look like this VPN is for torrenting, it's for access to regional content. Logs dont really matter.

    edit: although in that case being called "VanishedVPN" is kind of misleading. so I changed my mind. Logs do matter.

    Every telecomunications provider needs to keep logs. It's Australian law. Having said that, internet traffic [edit: meaning destinations in browsing the internet] is strictly forbidden to keep under the legislation.

  Is this a recurring discount or just $2? Seems like a once off to me which makes this a pretty lousy bargain

  Just to answer some of these questions.

  Yes, we have a solid solution for US Netflix. Its been 100% since we launched.

  We have less exit nodes, as we've positioned ourselves to provide a core offering of unblocked sites for the Australian market. 99% of our subscribers want US or UK based streaming services (such as US Netflix, Hulu , BBC iplayer) or sport (EPL, La Liga etc).

  The deal doesn't apply to the annual subscription. Both our Monthly and Annual subscription are already cheaper than most of our competitors (most of which do not offer US Netflix).

    So just to clarify, the maximum savings in this deal is $2.25 USD, is that correct?

      That seems to apply evey month to the monthly subscription, just not to the annual price

        What makes you say that? When I apply it just gives a straight $2.25 USD discount but the recurring price still says $8.99. I think these kind of deals are deliberately misleading and if not, clarification would be great.

      Absolutely amazing the comment above was negged. Clearly from an associate of VanishedVPN who did not want their ripoff deal to be exposed.

      It is just a once off $2.25 USD discount.

      The saddest part is I was actually going to join up once a decent deal came along but I never will support an organisation that is so actively trying to deceive its customers.

  Guys - Just to clarify the price point, yes, this is 25% of your first months subscription. That works out at $6.74. After that it reverts to $8.99, however, when you join VanishedVPN, we offer a referal scheme which gives 20% for each person you refer. So, refer 5 people (who sign up) in the first month, get 5 x 20% referal codes, and then transfer to an annual subscription for $0.

  No other VPN provider offers this.

  In terms of our normal pricing, if you compare us to ExpressVPN, their monthly plan is $12.95, so at $8.99, we're considerably cheaper. At $6.74 (which is what this offer gives you), that's almost half their price. Also note that ExpressVPN (and every other VPN provider in the world apart from us) has been intermittently blocked by US Netflix, and BBC iplayer this year. We have been 100% solid since launch, and are continuing to invest significantly in order to ensure that we can continue to provide these services. The other VPN providers have cheap, tactical cloud based solutions, which will continue to be blocked, and they will continue to move them around.
