  • These were $10 at Woolworths last week.

  • +4
  • I noticed Optus have started spamming the shit out of new prepaid customers, sms and email.

    • Yep, just activated my sim and got whole lot of spam, send STOP and it'll be alright

  • This was $10 at Officeworks just a few days ago. I was going to buy one but decided to stay with Boost Mobile.

  • If you're going to spend $15. Would would you go with Optus when you can currently this weekend get a Boost Mobile $30 unlimited starter SIM for $15 delivered. Boost Mobile is through the Telstra 4G network which is better in regional locations.

  • Can it be used with premium services?

  • There MAY be a 30 expiry from the date of sale with these $30 Starter kits, despite the printed overall sim expiry on the envelope. It might refer to a credit expiry. The optus ebay store mentions it and there have been reports of 30 day warning stickers on those bought from supermarkets.

    • The text is: Activate within 30 days of purchase or by the date advertised on a promotion. For information on available plan and pricing, see optus.com.au/prepaidplans

      • I have added a link to Optus for T&Cs etc.

  • Hi can anybody advise that if i wanted to opt for 186 day expiry 30 dollars do i have to recharge again or will this included credit work?

  • It will probably be $10 again at Officeworks soon.

  • Thanks - needed a sim so I can keep my number whilst overseas. Got this, and chose the credit with 186 day expiry.

Not $10, but at least don't have to wait for delivery
