I couldn't find an end-date for this promotion. I couldn't find details of how the bonus $10 is delivered (e.g. separate $10 card? or $110 loaded onto card?). But it's an extra $10 so who cares! (A full 10% not 9.x%.)

Stacking offers
I presume this works with the Amex/Westfield offer. The offer terms on the Amex website doesn't state that you can't use the Westfield card to buy a Myer's card. The Westfield website says: The Westfield Gift Card is accepted at over 8,000 participating retailers within Westfield centres Australia wide … including Myer … Gift Card acceptance is at the retailer’s discretion (so I guess it comes down to whether your local Myer store staff will let you buy a Myer g/card with a Westfield g/card). Note the processing and/or shipping fees for the Westfield card mentioned in the linked post.

I presume this works with the Amex/Myer offer, i.e. spend $150, get $35 back. I will try it online and let you know if it works.

Were you able to get a cheap Myer card at Woolies a couple of weeks ago? Let us know if it works with this offer.

      Same here. Hopefully they'll be sent to us within 4 hours as per the website.
      - If it doesn't trigger the Myer offer, the Amex deal is still a good deal by itself.

    normal myer items come from : https://www.myer.com.au

    I am not sure if buying from the retail.myergift domain will trigger the AMEX credit…

    Got 3x100, paied with 2 amex card, got the confirm email within 5 minutes.
    dont think this will work online as the website is different, kind similar to wish giftcards…
    but still think coles group gift card has more value even it dont have bonus 10.

    Just got home from Myer Southland… what an ordeal!

    First went to the homewards section then the giftorium counter, both ladies hadn't heard of the promotion and said it was an online only deal. Showed them that the offer is on the front page of the Myer website in my phone… they say they know nothing about it. After prompting they ring their manager who also knows nothing…

    Get taken to the customer service/lay by desk and the guy there also knows nothing, he keeps clicking the link on my phone trying to find the T&Cs (there aren't any). He goes to speak to his manager who says they can honour it but it's a an error and we can only get one $100 gift card (I wanted three to stack with the AmEx deal).

    Finally he comes back with an email with the deal, and the instructions, I bought 3 $100 gift cards and got 3 X free $10 gift cards but took forever to load them all!!!! I think we were in Myer for over half an hour.

    In summary, you get a separate $10 voucher just on a standard Myer gift card. Perhaps go straight to customer service as staff in all departments had no idea!

      Thanks Gina and Hao1989 for confirming what worked for you. Sorry to hear about the ordeal! I can't handle shopping in person anymore, just too much drama sometimes. But you "earnt" $65 for an hour's work I guess.

      Edit: You can see from my original post that Myer failed to fully describe this offer. There was no end-date, no start-date, and no maximum amount/number of cards specified. And the Myer offer did state it was online as well as instore, which is not fully confirmed yet. Myer has not yet emailed out a promo for this offer so maybe it was prematurely put up on its website.

    Thank you JoFord63 for posting this deal. Just came back from Myer, Knox Shopping Centre and bought $450 worth of Gift cards. Like Gina said staff did not know about the offer and I shown them their website that mentioned the offer then they got confirmation from the manager. It's was a long process and the staff too 10minutes to figure out how to create the bonus of $10. All together 8 giftcards and I paid with Amex and got confirmation on the $35 credit. I used all to buy Bose QC35 and thanks to Sari who patiently swiped and used up all my gift cards amount. Thanks once again to JoFord63.

    Just got back from Westfield Knox and here's my experience

    1. I bought a $100 Westfield GC from the counter for $102.95 (card activation fee of $2.95). This should give me a $25.00 AMEX credit.
    2. I went to MYER, told the counter I wanted to get a $100.00 GC for the $100+$10 GC offer and they told me it's only available online. Had an argument for a while until I got escalated upstairs to the Customer Centre area where the manager was willing to honour the deal for me.
    3. I pulled out my Westfield GC from 1. and got a instant "nope". "Can't buy gift cards using gift cards" response; no "buts".
    4. I bought $150.00 MYER GC (which then gave me an additional $10.00 GC) and instantly received an email from AMEX about my spending.

    Whole process took around 30 minutes. Surprisingly this is probably the hardest offer I've tried to take advantage of.

    Next step is trying to work out how I can convince someone in MYER (that's at a Westfield) to let me buy a $100 MYER GC (+$10 GC) with my $100 Westfield GC…

        Oh, ideally of course, I'd like to be able to buy a $100 MYER GC with it, therefore effectively turning that $100 (+$2.95) into $110 of credit at MYER.

        Otherwise that's what I was planning to do; I checked with the manager and she said I can use MYER GC with the Westfield GC to get a total of $260 worth of credit at MYER for the cost of $100+$2.95+$150-$25-$35 = $192.95

        Effective discount would be around 25%. If it worked out in my favour then I could have got around 29%. True Ozbargainer :)

    Just brought in store staff had no clue, there was an email sent to them which they had on the counter but they still weren't sure how to enter it. The usually process to enter a Myer gift and is a chore to then have to do it again for the $10 makes it a slow process. I would recommend finding a quiet counter in home wares or electronics as I felt a little bad holding up the queue and I was only buying one couldn't image the pain if doing multiple ones.

    Got two Myer gift cards ($500 and $200) plus the bonus gift cards ($50 and $20) from Queen Street Brisbane Myer and got double Myer One points. No problem at all. They where aware of the offer and proceed the gift cards as quickly as possible. Thanks OP!

    Just used the myer amex offer plus the 10 dollar gc used them to buy a coles mastercard so ur spending is not limited to the coles grpup
    So used two amex myer off plus the 10 gc offer
    150 +150 Myer gc = 300
    Savings = 35+35+10+10=90
    $100 dollar coles mastercards each has $5 access fee so that deducts $15 from the savings
    Total saving for $300 dollar master card is 90-15=75
    So used $225 for $300 mastercard credits!
    Hope it's not too confusing lol my wife came up with this insisted on sharing this:p

        Yes you can. Myer is part of the Coles group and their concierge have the options of Myers card or Coles group gift card.

          Yes I understand you can buy Coles Myer GC from Myer. What I don't understand is, the $10 bonus GC comes in the form of Myer GC (and I thought you will only qualify for the $10 bonus GC if you buy a Myer GC, not a CML GC). So, Myer staff member allows you to buy a Coles Mastercard with the Myer GC you bought and you received as a bonus? That's assuming they sell a Coles MC at Myer??

          EDIT: BTW Myer is no longer part of Coles Myer Group, that's why independent Myer GCs were sold, although CML GCs can still be used at Myer due to the legacy system. Also, I am sure you are aware that Myer GCs cannot be used at the larger Coles group (Coles Target Kmart etc) .

    So I bought $300 worth of Myer gift cards today from Myer carindale. Had to go to the Myer Hub as none of the staff knew about the deal. Got 3 x $100 and 1x $30 voucher. Paid with 2 different registered Amex, each $150. So total paid $230 for $330 worth of myer vouchers. I think this is the maximum discount you can apply with 2 Amex cards.

      You're not meant to but it's up to the sales assistant serving you. Certainly worth a try. I tried it when I bought the GC for the AMEX offer but was refused. My friend who did the same thing had his card scanned.

      Just bought mine from Sydney CBD store with 2 x Amex and got the credit notification for both cards immediately… Lady in the ground level counter told the offer starts next Monday only… But the guy in level 4 counter next to Levis/DC section was very helpful and sorted out!

    Myer at Warringah Mall has a sign at the Giftorium desk advertising the deal. I asked the lady at the counter if I could buy 3 separate $100 gift cards so I can get 3x$10 bonus cards. She looked at some clipboard and then said I could get 1x$300 gift card and get 1x$30 bonus so I did that with split payment over 2 Amex cards. Got the $30 bonus on a separate gift card then and there. Also got one Amex email as soon as I was done at the counter and the second email as I was walking out the door.

    Very friendly and helpful staff unlike Westfield concierge.
