I bought a 100$ last night using an HSBC Credit Card just to test and it went into a pending status saying they need to review and will contact me as soon as the review is completed. Waited a bit in the night but nothing happened. Contacted via chat and they were not able to give me any info but just took my email and number and told me that i would be contacted in 1 business day. The fact that there is no reference to the $10 bonus card deal on placing the order firstly made me pretty edgy.
Today at about 11am finally i got an email from them saying to provide a scan of my drivers license as well as the front side of credit card i used to complete the order. I have replied back saying i am not comfortable providing sensitive details via email and to cancel the order. Lets see what happens and hope i get my money back.
I actually wanted to know if the $500 gift cards for myer were also in the deal but they kept pasting the "terms" link at me. One person did mention that its applicable for $500 as well but i was too skeptic to try. I have this morning recieved an email from them saying that the deal is only applicable to $100 cards.
Update - " Just got an email confirming cancellation of the order and that they only request additional info when its required by their fraud prevention team (which is fair) but i wanted to get a few cards in this deal and it would have been a pain if i had to go through fraud prevention for each of these, so im out !"
The fraud prevention check is a one off, once we have your information and we have verified you as a customer, the next few cards should go through pretty quick. Hope that helps.

I wouldn't have been comfortable sending a scan of my drivers license and credit card to an unknown (to me) online store either. I don't think I'd ever want to provide my drivers license. CC I use Paypal if available.
I just got the same request and had the same concerns. I did live chat and they assured me it's secure bla bla but I am not convinced. I sent it anyway as I want the cards but I'm going to be pi$$ed if I jeapordised my security for nothing. I am very annoyed they would even ask such a thing to be sent via email with god knows who having access to it :/
I also asked if I could blur out some numbers on each card and was told no.
