But how to combine with Amex? LOL

    • +7

How not to? Spend $30 get $10 off, Pay with AMEX get another $10 credit back. You have $30 worth of items for $10. Plus two free items. If you are wise you might also get birthday present soon

      • you need pay for shipping…

        • Coupon is valid in store as well :)

    • +7

So, buy an item that's $30:
      * Present the $10 coupon from here to reduce the price to $20
      * Pay the $20 balance using AmEx card to get $10 cashback
      * Resulting price you pay is $10

Save $20 on purchases above $30

      • Won't AMEX see that as only a $20 transaction then and not $30 hence no cashback?

Or does it work different with coupons?

        • +2

The AmEx deal is to spend $20 or more and get a $10 cashback.

        • @divineiniquity:

Oh lol sorry I thought it was spend $30 for $10 cashback

  • Nice one.. No pricing error here!

  • +1 OP!

Also Two Free Items Added at Cart

    Any idea what these are?

    • +1

They seem to change every time I update cart, if you don't like what you get, Just try updating cart

      Update: sorry, no free items.

  • thanks :)

"…and Also Two Free Items Added at Cart"

How do you get these for free? When I go to my shopping cart, it shows two items, whilst it initially shows $0.00, once I change the quantity it changes to $9.95 and $5.95 respectively.

    • +2

Thanks for correcting, I was wrong. When Items get added to cart the quantity is zero. That's why it comes up as free. But when number is updated to one, price gets updated. Sorry there are no free items.

Great deal, but is there anything at this store worth buying? Everything seems massively over priced.

They were selling 3 paperclips for $5!!!!!

    • Kris Kringle present. $10 for a $30 gift is pretty nice xD

      • +2

If I got 3 paperclips for KK I'd quit my job

        • Technically 18 of them since you can buy 6 packs of them to make up $30 (well…21 to be exact since you need 7 packs to actually get over $30), but you get my point.

        • I got melted chocolate that was dusty, as if they were from last christmas…

Nothing really need yo buy in kk even with amex deal

I can say the staff at kikki are super nice. My wife went in with her birthday email only(couldn't find the one with her code to scan) but the person found her details on system and took $10 off her purchase, I dunno how they verfied it wasn't used before. (it wasn't used before)

But stuff is so over priced, we grabbed a mug( only useful thing there) for $15, so only chimed in $5. But saw a really similar mug at the reject shop down the road for $3.

It feels like a bargain shopping at kikki and using the voucher to get effectively 66% off, just don't walk into the reject shop afterwards! Spoils the "I grabbed a bargain" feeling, haha

    • +2
      • So u agree it's over priced? Coz I'm sure they cost like $1 when it's back to school time at supermarkets etc.

        • +3

Except the quality is much much higher. In terms of writing a nice note to leave someone etc, it's much heavier and thicker. You're paying for different things.

Using your logic why would anyone buy a nice journal or diary, the 50c A5 books from Coles will do?

        • @smileymiwo:

I see what your saying, that's why moleskin can sell paper for up to 40-$50. That's fine, I still think its a waste of money and over priced. :) and I'm a ozbargainer coz I don't like paying for uncessary "niceness".

But I do respect diversity and each to their own :)

        • +2

          @cloudy:

Personally, I don't have much of a need for "nice" stationary myself, but they make really good gifts for others. Especially diaries, planners and journals, giving them to people who will use them extensively will make for a very thoughtful present.

        • @smileymiwo: Because of the brand. Like why do asians line up around the corner to buy Pandora?

    • +2

      Agreed. Staff are amazing.

I got my $10 off a day after I bought something. Went back in with the voucher and receipt and they just gave me $10 back. No dramas. All smiles. Actually some of the best service I have had in a while from anywhere.

    • +1

That's why you get something under $10 so it's free. I stocked up on their pen sets over the years and accumulated more than I use so I changed over to getting the cups ($2.95 after discount). Currently wondering what to get next…

  • +1

I signed up a week ago. $10 voucher wasn't instant, it came the next day.

Was finding it really hard to find something I wanted to buy for $10 but after the Amex deal, I caved in and spent the $30.

And yes, all the staff were nice.
