I read somewhere that model prone interference. Fixed in model G933.

i have the g930. wireless is very iffy… i use it in wired mode now.

    • Seconded… I'm a very techy user, so i always thought it was a dumb user issue. Not the case. These headsets interfere greatly on the 2.4Ghz frequency. I had 2 pairs, only work around was to disable 2.4Ghz WiFi. Ultimately have switched to Astro A50's now which run on 5Ghz.

  • Pay the bit extra and get the G933. I have both and g933 is a what the 930 should have been.

  • Should I switch the deal to the Logitech G633's instead? Close to all time lowest Amazon price. The 933's were $100 USD only a month ago :(

Personal experience, never had an interference issue in 3 years of ownership.
Also G930 doesn't support a "Wired mode" as stated above, it always sends audio over wireless and the usb is purely for charging.

It comes down to congestion of 2.4Ghz frquency. As someone who lives in a small apartment block with a few devices utilising 2.4hz eg: wireless mouse, kb and was situated pretty closely to wifi router, nothing short of disabling 2.4Ghz on wifi resolved the issue.

Absolutely. I'm in a house with approx 5 Wifi SSIDs nearby on the 2.4 range plus a 2.4 Ghz spread spectrum baby monitor but I've got friends that have 10+ SSIDs nearby that are probably turned up to max power so apartments are probably even worse.
Everyone's experience may vary, just throwing mine in as there seemed to be everyone saying they had issues.

  • Amazon "1" ratings seems to be related to 933. Is G633 a better buy in terms of issues?

  • I have a G633 wired version and it has perfect sound - no idea why it would have interference on 2.4ghz…

  • cheers op. Bought myself a G930

  • The g933 was around $130 delivered only a few weeks ago:

I've only had mine for less than week but I'm really happy with them.

  • Got two sets of the G930s. Never had a problem with interference. They have worked flawlessly for 4 years.

My friend switched from the G930s to the new G933 Artemis and the mic is nowhere near as good.
