    Can the adrenalin cards be stacked? If not then there is little you can get on adrenalin for $50 bucks. half price skydiving sounds fun :)

    • +4 votes

      Yes, I used $400 worth of cards a few weeks back for a Hot Air Balloon ride (cost $200 last year Boxing Day sale) - can be stacked :)

      •

        What value of gift cards were they because the below suggests you can only stack 5 which would be $250 worth in this case rather than the $400 that you used.

        •

          Some of the deals include $100 gift cards like the 40% off one last month, so they might have used 4 of those instead.

        •

          @doweyy:

          Hello,

          Does anyone know if these can be stacked?

          Looking at booking (say for example a helicopter flight - $160 each)

          $160 x 2 = $320, plus $4.50 booking fee = $324.50
          Can we then use a discount coupon? (ie SAVE25) = $299.50?

          So essentially I’d only need to spend $150 for $300 in Adrenaline vouchers?

        •

          @movieman:
          No you can't. That's the downside of using the gift cards but usually the discount on gift cards are much larger than $25 savings

        •

          @cwongtech: Where is this $25 coming from? If you mean the $25 from $50 card each, then the saving should be $125 since the previous poster said at max 5 cards can be used.

        •

          @enveloped:

          There is a permanent "Save $25 today when you book an experience!" promotion if you can call it that.
          But the thing is if you use gift cards, that "save $25" promotion cannot be used.
          Also, it's max 10 gift cards that can be used per transaction. It's a limit of 5 vouchers.
          Pros of not using gift cards:
          - Can use the $25 instant saving
          Cons of not using gift cards:
          - Booking fee.. sort of negates the $25 instant saving

          Pros of using gift cards:
          - Sometimes heavily discounted, usually outweighs the ongoing save $25 promo.
          Cons of using gift cards:
          - Limit of 10 per transaction (try it, add dummy details in and you can add up to 10 gift cards, I have used 7 x$100 together before.)
          - Cannot use the permanent "Book now and instantly save $20" promos.

      Its in the fine print

      limit of 5 gift cards per transaction on the Adrenaline website applies

      • +1 vote

        i have used 8 vouchers in one purchase (when target had 40% off) to buy a skydive session

        •

          How about 20 vouchers in one purchase??? Hell i'd even get 50 if I can… i'll clean them out.

        •

          How did you use them?

        •

          @SickDmith:
          Answering myself…
          Website allows you to add 10 cards / vouchers.
          But processing is manual. So I am not sure if the can reject them later.

      •

        Whats to stop people from just going through the self service checkout and doing 5 at a time for each transaction?

      • +13 votes

        P.S.A.
        There's a difference between Gift Cards and Gift Vouchers on Adrenaline
        Maximum of 10 gift cards in the checkout
        Maximum of 5 gift vouchers in the checkout
        This deal is for gift cards NOT vouchers
        You can use up to 10 of the product in this deal, so $500 in one transaction

        •

          how do you know there is a maximum of 10 gift cards at checkout on the adrenaline website?

          @cwongtech: Awesome! Thanks heaps for clarifying!

        •

          What was Target selling last time? Cards or Vouchers?

        • +1 vote

          @SickDmith:
          Cards most likely.
          I think you can only get vouchers off the website although I could be wrong.

        •

          @cwongtech:

          Thanks

        •

          Still a bit confused… do you mean max of 10 to be purchased at woollies checkout or the online checkout at adrenalin?

          Let's say I have a group of 10 people for an activity on adrenalin. If the limit is 10 per transaction on adrenalin could I just book the activity twice with two groups of 5, using 10 vouchers for each group of 5 people? If so, would I need to create two different accounts on adrenalin to do this?

        • +1 vote

          @ISTJ:

          Add ANY experience to cart in the Adrenaline website, click book now - Cwongtech

          Limit is for adrenaline website.

          Yep you can, you will need to book the same session for the activity.

          If you want to do it in one transaction, you can book over the phone apparently, but you miss out on cashrewards. Can use unlimited amount of gift cards if you do it by phone according to other ozb members.

        • +2 votes

          I just called adrenaline and asked if they can do over 10 gift cards over the phone, they said no. She also said it's 5 maximum per transaction from her memory, but I told her the website allows 10, she then checked and confirmed that 10 is the maximum.

        •

          @julzihead:
          Dodgy rep :p

          She also said it's 5 maximum per transaction from her memory, but I told her the website allows 10\

          I've never booked over the phone. Others have. I'm not sure anymore haha

          Yes up to 10 per transaction online. Infinite over the phone- CheapskateQueen

          Also use this link to check which gift card has residual amounts remaining (Say if you use 4 $50 gift cards for a $180 experience, this is how to check which card has the $20 left):
          https://www.adrenaline.com.au/redeem/

        •

          @ISTJ:
          I'm fairly sure there is a really good reason why woolworths specifically wrote on the catalogue as on the image on the OP's link

          $25ea Adrenaline $50 Gift Card*
          Save $25
          *Limit of 5 gift cards per transaction the the Adrenaline website applies."

          People may have had luck in the past, and it seems you may maybe get away with it, but don't count on being able to use more than 5 given that it specifically says so on the advert.

        •

          @MrFrugalSmith:
          The website does allow you to put in 10 gift cards. Theres a definite limit of 5 gift vouchers though. I have also used 7 GCS in one transaction about 3 months ago.
          The advert always quotes conservatively, even the clueless rep on the phone (julzihead called them) thought it was 5. Try it out yourself on the checkout of adrenaline with test details.

    Is it good to buy Adrenaline gift card for kids annual pass? How long is the gift card expiry date?

    •

      12mths I think

    •

      I think it is 18 months based on their website
      edit: my last gift cards i bought say 12 months expiry. Sorry

    •

      Unlimited Merlin pass? Yeah I want to get that too, $99 so it's like getting a pass for $50, bargain! Lasts a year

      Can you please explain how did you make these tables? WebScraper?

      • +3 votes

        I make it using templates from other deals

        like this!
        blah blah

        A template should be like

        |product|discount|price|

        Followed by

        |——————-|

        Then

        |insert product|insert discount|insert price|

        Not sure how Savas does it though

  •

    Can I buy adrenaline $100 cards or is the deal only for $50 cards??

    •

      Only for $50. No limit to how many you can get at Woolies, just on how many you can use on Adrenaline's website.

      •

        I went to Sydney Townhall shop. All $50s are gone. Loads of $100s left.

  • +1 vote

    The adrenaline gift card work way more cheaper than GROUPON, must buy!

    Adrenaline website also have things on special atm, like massage at your home for $50 bux for one hour after all discounts.

    •

      just read the conditions, or there may be no happy ending

  • +1 vote

    Awesome, been waiting for this!

    I want to get $1000 worth of Adrenalin cards to do something with a group of friends. This means I'd need 20 of them. Could I go back 5 times in one day to achieve this??? Could I book an activity with 20 cards??

    •

      I just went through the self serve at Woolies and got 10 in one go - no limit there. Just on how many you can use on Adrenaline's website.

      •

        10 is the limit cause I got 40 and they did it in batches of 10

  •

    I've bought half price adrenaline cards in the past and used for half price skydiving. The value is great at half price but their website is painful and their customer service is up there with some of the worst i've ever had to deal with.

    • +1 vote

      I had no problems with manually inputting 8 x $50 codes to their Australian call centre. Def's worth it for 50% off. Some great Skydiving/Hot Air Balloon/Helicopter deals can be had.

  • +1 vote

    For anyone taking advantage of the adrenaline cards make sure to research pricing before booking an experience. Their T&C's don't restrict gift cards being used with their price match policy (whereby the RRP of another cheaper competitor = 10% discount). When I booked skydiving this week it took a bit of push but she ended up making the experience $333 not $375 because of the price match policy.

  •

    can you combine gift card + cash when you're a little short of your gift card?

    •

      Yes, you can combine cash and gift card but must call them to book rather than all online as far as Im aware.

  •

    If you have amex, do you get triple points on gift cards?

    • +2 votes

      Yes for Platinum Edge.

      •

        Great, even better!

    Thanks OP. BTW, Nice festive avatar :-)

  •

    How can Adrenaline afford to offer heavily discounted gift cards all the time?

    • +2 votes

      I guess there is enough fat built in the price.

  •

    Is it possible to buy the adrenaline cards at 50% off from woolies and then redeem on Aderaline.com ?

    I'm off to the US in a week or so and this could prove to be a cheap way of getting a NYC heli tour!

    •

      Very sure you can't. Checked my balance on the Australian site, it works, but when I put it in the Adrenaline.com (US site) it doesn't recognise it.
      Hope that helps.

      •

        So I gave Adrenaline.com.au a call and they said no worries at all using on the .com site

        Did point out that can only use 5 vouchers per booking and also can't buy more vouchers with the current vouchers but that's fine.

        Guess a trip too woolies is in order with the plat edge!

        •

          Good luck, please report back if it does indeed work!
          It will be useful knowledge for the rest of OzBargain members!

        •

          @cwongtech:

          It's a bit of risk to take but I think I can make it worth it, there was no hesitation from the operator which does put me at ease somewhat.

          Perhaps I'll call them again just before I purchase them! :D

  •

    5% off eGift card as well, works fine going through self serve.

    Any indication that Adrenaline is going bust soon?

  • +1 vote

    Just found out that Adrenalin sell the Merlin pass so will use this for an aquarium pass.

    Gonna go thrash a dune buggy around Stradbroke Island during our dirty weekend. Cheers OP!

    Woolworths has a 10 card limit at the checkout. They let me purchase 13 in two separate transactions. Great deal.

    •

      If you're talking about adrenaline vouchers you should have done it via self checkout! And also split them so 2 cards per transaction, you would have got 6 x 4c fuel vouchers!

      •

        I also did self checkout but could only manage 10 gift cards at a time

        •

          As in if you split them into 2 cards per transaction you could generate 5 fuel vouchers, adrenaline gift cards count towards $30 spend :D

        •

          @cwongtech: woolworths fuel is still more expensive with the discount around my area. Not worth the effort. Haha

        •

          @kimba88:
          7/11 road trip? ;)

        •

          @cwongtech: Or the cheaper independents ;-)

        •

          @kimba88:
          Cheaper than 130.7 for Prem98? ;)

        •

          @cwongtech: To be honest, i haven't taken notice.. haven't needed petrol ;-) Where can you get premium 98 for 130.7 though? Seems cheap :-)

        •

          @kimba88:
          "travel" to thorton and use 7/11 fuel app to lock in price. "travel" to your nearest 7/1 and use up your fuel voucher

        •

          @cwongtech: thorton in newcastle?? You've confused me. Lol

    •

      Haha I bought 40 of them in 4 separate transactions at the checkout.

  •

    Perfect for Xmas! gonna send the old man up in a plane to skydive…. cheers Op

    Just used 7 cards to book our bash, they worked instantly after purchase. gr8 deal

  •

    Going to get these today woo hoo

    •

      Does anyone know if I could purchase 2 Merlin passes at a time to take advantage of the $25 off? I need 4 passes…

  •

    The Merlin passes can only get adult ($99) and not kids versions? On the Merlin website kids passes are $69 but these don't appear on Adrenaline's website?

  • +1 vote

    Got 15 $50 vouchers today. The girl at the self service checkout was laughing at me. I used my woolworths egift card to. We just moved to Australia 6 month ago so wanted to do the harbour bridge climb at twilight. You can't argue for half price.

  • +1 vote

    pushing the ozbargin saving further, 5 at a time plus woolworths reward card, ding' extra $10 off. so paid $230 for $500 worth of cards

  •

    Can someone please confirm that you cant use when buying an experience as a gift?

  •

    Bought 6x of the $10 Skype cards today whilst in Woolies but only paid $2.50 each.
    They are itemised as costing 5.00 but then there is an additional "ADRENALIN DOL OFFER -15.00" at the bottom.
    Makes calling back home that much cheaper :)

    •

      WOW. Can I please ask you where did you buy ?

  •

    I got a $25 and $10 skype card but the $10 has expired !! It has a different PIN format than the $25 one (its only numbers while the $25 is mostly letters and is longer) Skype advised to return it to the store as it expired on 23/07/2015 ! Dodgy Woolworths !

  •

    Is the adrenaline deal still on?

    •

      Says expired on 27th of December. It's finished mate.
