This seems like a really low-effort post.

  • Is it a DNS service? Or VPN?
If it's just DNS, I thought that was sufficient enough to unblock Netflix these days?

    • you mean isn't sufficient ?
I thought most DNS/VPN providers have given on that wack-a-mole game with Netflix.

Oops, yes that's what I meant.
        You need VPN for Netflix.

        • why VPN? SmartDNS is faster than VPN!

        • @Tzip:
But does it work for Netflix?

        • @Aussie89:

I just opened a trial and it works. You would only want to activate it when using it though.

Having said that they are a fairly new player to the market and well netflix comes down hard on these things.

      • Getflix DNS and US Netflix has been working flawlessly for me for quite a while now and over the last few months I haven't had any more than a few days downtime.

    • This is SmartDNS with special VPN.
Right, it is sufficient enough to do this.

Nope, stack social are dodgey dodgey dodgey. I purchased a VPN service via them previously - "5 countries" (only Nth America), "Android & IOS supported" (Nope), "Works with Netflix" (Nope). Chased & chased for 2 mths for a refund - Nope take it up with the provider. Provider - no replies to any questions.

Finally got a refund via Amex.

  • From their website (noticed a few spelling and grammar errors on their website, not the best starts!! :-) )

"Unblock All is a smart DNS service that allows you to mask your location to remove censorship blocks and gain access to hundreds of sites inaccessible within your geographic region. "

"The technology which out service is based on is mainly a DNS service, a much more faster service compared with a traditional VPN and fully compatible with more than 500 devices such as PCs, Smart TV, Iphones, Game consoles, Media and BlueRay, including all smart phones and Android OS users. It also supports all OS like Windows, Mac, Android, Ubuntu, etc."

  • it looks like a smartDNS service.
You can switch between 4 countries (USA, Canada, UK, Australia)
only 2 DNS servers (looks like located in the US), so all your internet will slow down as domain lookups have to go via the US to resolve (I've used DNS4ME & GetFlix, who have DNS servers in Oz & it still slows down browsing).

Uflix is the most professional company I've dealt with and they gave up on the Netflix blocking earlier this year:

    Hi everyone,

As of today we are going to stop supporting Netflix as an unblocked channel. Unfortunately every time we set up a new network or find a workaround it is getting blocked within hours. Over the last 7 months we have put in a great amount of time, money and energy into keeping Netflix unblocked. We have usually been up and running within a couple of hours of each ban. However, this has greatly drained our resources and our time.

We have always made sure to have at least 2 spare networks ready for when a ban happened, which was extremely expensive but gave us the best channel uptime. In recent weeks the bans have steadily progressed, sometimes to multiple times per day. It simply is not viable to keep supporting a channel like that.

yeah it's nice when they're honest.

  • Does this actually work on anything besides US? Getflix hasn't worked on uk for a while now and neither does my vpn….

  • I have tried this service and for me just didnt work at all to my satisfaction.
I could get US Netflix but very very slow and resolution lucky to be 720
They refunded in full So full marks for that
