  Ive had major screen issues with my zenbook prime (UX31A) since purchase, screen replaced (under warranty) twice with only after fighting with ASUS service centre. screen still has burn but i honestly cant be bothered arguing with them a third time. pretty good laptop otherwise, plays basic games but i dont advise getting ASUS, let alone a zenbook.

    You mean burn in? If that's the case most likely just image retention caused by overdrive… not a defect.

    I read a few reviews of the UX310 that said it has a good screen with less bleed than with comparable laptops, but it's difficult to know for sure.

  Don't forget these UX310UA laptops have terrible TN displays and are not of the usual IPS display. I was close to purchasing this model awhile back until I realised the terrible display reviews
