    Thanks Tightarse.

Wish there was Cashrewards for Coles, I'd be rich.

  • Merry Christmas TA, thanks for all the great deals

  • Do the Voda starter packs have expiry dates?

    • No

    • Previously Vodafone sims should be activated within 3 years from manufacture to keep the same number assigned to the prepaid pack, otherwise you needed to call them up when you wanted to sign up as it wouldn't work properly on the online portal.

      This might have changed.

Any idea if the combo starter pack can be activated on another plan?

Are all starter packs the same?

  • As always Love your work TA - Merry Christmas.. have a day off tomorrow ;)

I thought you were sween64, not confused. Here, have a +.

        • Haha. That sentence confused me initially. Dad jokes…

          That deserves a +

My local Coles is already selling the Telco offers at those prices, no need to wait until 28/12.

  • Food for thought
Kogan gift cards through Coles gives you a tax invoice. I'm not sure if gift cards have 10% tax as a many items in Coles do not. Then make a purchase overseas with Kogan, claim on tax, win?

    • -1

"10% tax" - you mean GST?
"make a purchase overseas with Kogan, claim on tax" - kogan's grey imports don't have GST. Therefore no TRS claim either.

      FYI, GST-free-sales https://www.ato.gov.au/Business/GST/When-to-charge-GST-(and-when-not-to)/GST-free-sales/

    • No GST on gift cards. You pay GST if any when you redeem.

  • Thanks TA for your efforts and excellent work this year - Merry Christmas to you and yours. Have a nice day tomoz :)

    what to buy from kogan

  • Wow šŸ˜² already thanks heaps TA

  • Does anyone know what the max amount we are able to purchase from Coles? and whether we can stack multiple gift cards when purchasing from kogan?

    • +1

When I bought one at the 10% off deal at woolies last week, the credit on the gift card has to be first added to my kogan account before I could use it. Hence I didn't have to spend the gift card amount in one go (the remainder just stays in my account). It should also mean that you can stack as many as you like, as the gift cards are just all added to your account.

      • Good to know! thanks

  • I'm assuming mobile phones from the normal website can be purchased with gift cards?

Does anyone know if Kogan's Gift Card can be use for Dick Smith Online?

  • Some other comments said the vouchers cannot be used on koganmobile but is it possible to use them to buy this?
    https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-mobile-voucher-code-largeā€¦

Don't want to be stuck with Kogan giftcards if it won't…

    • Same! I believe you can since you are applying a credit to your account then purchasing it that way….but let me know if it works

    • +2

      Looks like it works

      • Awesome I was just about to try it next week! Thanks

    • Warning for next time but these vouchers only work for a new phone service, not for recharge. . I'm about to try to get a refund.

      • serious just bought the giftcards today ….
don't want to apply them to my account just yet then
can one of guys confirm Heb, obey or User?

      • When you buy the voucher from kogan.com not koganmobile I think that makes it quite clear it's only for a new service not the recharge.

I've applied it to my account but haven't redeemed it yet.

      • Would it work if you ported out - cancelled service then ported back in 2 weeks time?

  • i do the self scan Voda pack and on the screen said something about activation and 30 days…Coles right now having within 30 days activation after purchase date? i could have brought 10 for 2018 but for this reason of 30 days activation after purchase date

Any idea if you can redeem all 5 kogan gift cards in the same transaction?

For example I am after the Nikon D5300 which is 549$

Is it possible to buy 5 gift cards and applying them all to the purchase? effectively paying 499$ for the camera?

  • Just walked into coles and also noticed 20% off on iTunes gift cards (excl. $20 card) until 3rd Jan and picked up a couple. Couldn't see it listed here.
