Olympus OM-D E-M10 MKII 14-42mm Lens Kit + Accessories for $614 ($764 - $150 Cashback from Supplier) @ Harvey Norman

30

Picked up an Olympus OM-D E-M10 MKII with Olympus 14-42mm lens kit for $764 at Harvey Norman. JB Hi-Fi has this same body with the EZ lens for the same price, if you prefer this lens (which 9/10 reviewers seem to) then it's a good deal!

Also don't forget the $150 cashback and free accessory kit worth $129 from Olympus:

Is this bargain good enough for OzB?

(don't hate me for paying that much for the SD card I was happy enough and wanted to take photos ASAP)

EDIT: reworded first sentence to be more clear. The EZ lens is smaller, but no lighter and it gets poor reviews. To buy with this particular lens costs a decent amount more, so for this "bundle" it's a cheap option.

But the EZ lens is the better lens..

And you could have got an 64gb Extreme PRO for the same price at MSY.

Yeah the ez is the better lens. Check out the resale on the two.

The ez isn't an aftermarket lens. It is the smaller, more expensive Olympus lens.

EM10 ii with EZ lens currently $763.20 at digidirect http://www.digidirect.com.au/cameras/cscmirrorless_cameras/o…

I'm considering the body only for $629.10 http://www.digidirect.com.au/cameras/cscmirrorless_cameras/o…

    • How much the 14-42mm EZ lens worth?

  • Yeah better to buy a lens with lower F stop. It's a good camera. Has a lot of functions and takes awhile to work it out. I still haven't. really needs an RGB histogram like the Nikons have. I will give it 6mths but really missing Nikon.

I love the sz and weight. Does anyone know where I can buy Olympus flashlight?

    • By clicking display you can cycle through different items to view. When reviewing photos you can get rgb histogram this way. Pretty certain, but don't have my camera with me to test.
