wtheck paid $28-29 just 2 months ago from banggood - argghhghghg
seriously guys, buy this. fast charging both ways!

edit: nope actually i paid about the same (after discount code and cashreward)

    • You'll hate it even more now that there is a bidirectional QC3 20000mAh power bank out :P

      • nah, i have qc 2 device only. wont be upgrading mobile for at least another year so im fine thanks

      • any recommendations for brands or which models ?
i have been wanting to get one too, and i've read good things about Anker or RAVPower, on Amazon.

        • Those ones are good, but I'd avoid LeTV/LeEco as its power/charge efficiency is crap.

      • i think its still QC2 but bidirectional, i dont think xiaomi has a QC3 one out yet

        • +1

There are now 2 20000mAh power banks. The first supports QC2 input while the new one (announced ~2 weeks ago) is is QC3 bidirectional.

This cant charge and power at the same time like the more expensive model.

    • It doesn't charge the phone at all? Or it charges at lower rate (e.g. 2.1A)?

      Interested as I have iPhone.

      • It will charge only if it's not plugged in to be charged at the same time. It will charge iphones no problem.

        • Right, I usually charge the battery while having it charging my phone. So I guess it won't work in this case then.

        • havent try that but thanks, now i know.

    • +3

why not charge your phone directly if you can charge your bank? you can always have 1 more port to charge your phone.

      • Cause it's handy to be able to take advantage of the qc when you don't have access to a qc charger ..

        • You're doing it wrong lol

  • +4

This is a brilliant powerbank. Beautiful (as far as powerbanks go anyway), perfect dimensions to sit next to your phone in your pocket or bag and yeah, qc2 both ways. Xiaomi outdid themselves on this one.

    • +1

The aluminium also scratches the fck out of your phone too.

      • The majority of people have some sort of case on their phone. Failing at that, a $2 silicon case on the powerbank would suffice.

  • +6

Oh no, I paid $25.99 for this 12 hours ago on banggood.

    I cannot live with myself.

  • Are these able to be taken on board aircraft without approval?

    • Carry on luggage only. Take it out of your bag when going through customs too.

    • +1

I took mine to the U.S no problem, didn't even take it out of my bag when going through security.

    Also comes in black,

how long will delivery take? im leaving in about 20 days will this arrive to me in melbourne?

    • It says 1-4 weeks. After the 7 - 14 days handling time.

  • Where does this ship from? Hong Kong, China or Aus?

    • Never mind - Just found it ships from overseas supplier. 1- 4 weeks. Probably closer to 4 in my experience buying from them.

  • There was an FAQ/Guide somewhere around here that listed the Australian vs Overseas stockists for the Xiaomi Power Banks… can't seem to find it at the moment, does anyone have that link?

Have done zero research on powerbanks, but trusting the OZB community and just bought one :)

    • +2

xiaomi is probably without a doubt the most reliable, value for money, cheap and highest quality powerbank on the market. 5 stars for price, size and reliability. I would however do some light research for other deals in the future, as sometimes it may not be so reputable as xiaomi. :)

  • Sweet been waiting for a qc slim powerbank

  • bought two on different names) I need it desperately

  • These guys are drop shippers so it will take about 4 weeks

  • how does this fair against the xiaomi pro 10000 mah? both have quick charge, but ones 20 dollars extra?

  • +1

a lot of bad reviews for shopping square…

  • Uhmm, does iPhone 6 support quick charge?

    • +3

Lol iPhone and QC. Apple will use QC when they become obsolete.

  • +1

Mushtato have this for 37 if you want local stock.

  • Did someone try to charge Samsung tab s2 , iphone 7 and/or lumia 920 with this? Is it compatible?

    • It will charge anything portable sized with the right cable.

      • Thanks mate. The reason I asked because this powerbank has output of 5.1V 2.4A, but samsung tab requires 5.0V and 2.0A. !! Not sure if it matters though.

        • you want output voltage to be higer tham the phone so that it flows from the powerbank to the phone. 2.4A is higer than 2.0A. This is good, the device will only draw as much as it can handle. Always good to have higer current than required.

  • I would avoid shopping express, they will instead send the powerbank the one with 10,000mah without QC like they did with dashCam.

    • this is shoppingsquare not shoppingexpress

  • +3

Alternatively, buy from Banggood for $25.26 (with the 10% coupon from login in). The review on the website says it took 3 weeks to receive in Aus.

    Thanks :D

$25.26 from banggood with discount xiaomipb10

    • what discount :) ?

Despite the FAQ advising Geekbuying as a suggested international supplier, I seriously suggest Bargainers do not purchase battery packs from them, and perhaps the FAQ be updated. In fact due to an ongoing refusal to refund a purchase of a Xiaomi pack in November which never arrived, I'm not buying anything from them again.

Despite losing the first parcel, resending it, and then the 2nd item being seized by Dutch post (as per tracking info item was X-rayed and rejected), they refuse to refund until after 3 months which is how long their investigations apparently take with the shipping company… Irrespective that it clearly shows postage was rejected almost a month ago.

    • I'm associated with GeekBuying at OzBargain and will happily get your order refunded if you send me a PM with your order number. There was an issue several months ago where Aussie customs were rejecting power banks, but that issue is now fixed.

      • Thanks mate, really appreciate it. I had actually typed up a Pm for you however as I'm overseas at the moment apparently I'm not allowed to send it…

This item was actually attempting to be sent to the UK FYI as it was a present for in laws.

I think my order number may be 3847775 1674255 if you could assist.

        • I know the UK has it's own set of problems with importing power banks. I've sent them a message.

        • You will receive a refund within 48 hours.

        • @Clear:

Thanks very much for your help, really appreciate it. I have indeed received an email from them already.

I do hope that they perhaps take a look at their customer service refund policy where clearly items haven't arrived / won't arrive at their destinations.

$31 on eBay Australia seller arrived in less than a week, I'll buy from local instead. 4 weeks is forever in today time.

  • Someone please enlighten me the difference this and the pro type C

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/273753

    • This is foreseeable-futureproof. It can charge Type C devices (and itself be charged) with the included microUSB>Type C adapter. If you get hold of an adapter, the Power Bank 2 could do the same thing.

  • Is this deal still active? As website is not displaying this price. Am I missing the coupon code or something?

    :(

ShoppingSquare price now closer to $34 delivered …
