    What this store still exists??

    Bought the phone for 348 a couple of weeks ago, have to say the storage is too little without a SD expansion slot, damn you Google.

    Probably none left in VIC, 3 stores out of stock, while the rest didn't answer my call

  • yeah was considering one when it was still 348 but 16gig is tiny, not enough to keep photos/music

    • Backup photos online automatically via Google Photos (set to use wi-fi only and only when charging so it does it overnight in the background). Music is tougher to deal with :(

      • One drive if you have one allow you to upload/sync your music with cloud. Then customise your playlist and play offline, or play off cloud which eats up your data usage.

        Edit: use groove to sync to one drive.

        • Thats a lot of work to get around a stupid limitation from Google with their persistence in not allowing SD Cards.

        • @bchliu:
          True. I only do it because I have an office 365 subscription and have lots of cloud storage.

          Since its in my cloud I can use either my phone or tablet to access my stuff.

          I thought having 32gb on my nexus 7 tablet was enough as well but it turns out its not enough these days :( (that includes having my music on the cloud already!)

          I just realised another alternative is otg if your bothered plugging it in.

          @bchliu: >stupid limitation from Google

          Far from stuupid: since the device is made to spy on the user it makes zero sense to give the user storage space that allows them to remain offline and therefore not reporting everything about you to Google.

  • FYI, this is made by LG!

  • Too little too late… This must be AP's another 'new year special' which few people want… I bought the 32GB international version of the 5X from DWI (Grey import) for $317 in Sep 2016 (on a special which was spotted from OzB). Link here

    This phone is running great so far…

    Just wondering when will the brick n mortar stores understand and follow the real market requirements? The revolution of the online stampede is already on whilst Aussie retailers are choosing to bury their necks in the sand. Good Luck to you guys.
