    hmmm… its a $39 phone

BIG 8Gb of memory that has 3.35Gb usable. LOL!

But it has band 28 so basically, must buy.

      Expandable though at least :)

      • AFAIK you can't move apps to the SD card any more, so being expandable is only helpful if you have a few apps + lots of music/photos/videos/movies

  • And only just saw the deal mentioned here. I saw the deal on Facebook FWIW :)

    phone rates not the best

  • Any way to know reception? I need a cheap phone for using as a modum but must be as good as my Xperia z (bluetick).

you can get a telstra prepaid sim card from woolly/coles to test reception.

    1GB devices need to die. It's 2017!

I've had nothing but trouble with android and 1GB ram (simple tasks, few apps)
Even though you have expandable memory, not all apps can be moved.
What's Marshmallow like on just 1GB?

You seem confused, if you move apps to a sd card it makes no differance to the ram usage… Ram is not storage.

He's talking about two distinct things.

He's right though, I think the minimum for any usable android phone is 2gb ram, 16gb nvram.

Not all apps like to be run off SD card unfortunately.

      • As per Tonyjzx message, it's 2 distinct issues.

  • Will it work with an Optus sim?
