I just booked bathers pavillion, was there last year for a wedding, great place and amazing food.
50% off is pretty good value (if you consider fine dine 'good value')
I love how you (and others) list the name of the restaurant with a bit of feedback, but just assume we all know what state it's in. Really not worth the typed effort without this info. Helps nobody.

In a nutshell: Great place (and at 50% is excellent) but a few minor let downs mean it's not the best I've been to (But far from the worst!) YMMV - enjoy!

Can anyone confirm if the "50% off valid for the next 22 diners" is referring to the booking or actual diners?
For example; If I have booked with the 50% off code for tomorrow night but 22 diners make their booking after me for tonight, is my booking still valid?
There's a limited number of bookings allowed for each restaurant for this offer, and the number you see will decrease as the bookings are made. If you've already booked, you should see '50% off food' in the confirmation email.

For Melbourne I think there's more 50% food bill off restaurants being added now. I booked firechief, south wharf meat and Hereford for tonight tomorrow lunch and Monday night lol can't imagine doing 3 nights in a row with Dimmi!

Is amazing. I tried the hanger steak. But if your partner can eat beef, is even better lol. Mine does not eat beef so she got a fish instead.

@rawm: agreed on the smallish portions, so will only seriously consider if no more 50%. Maybe the sharing steak and salmon.
You can actually purchase a pack of the salmon at Kew, Tassal shop. But i think is beetroot marinaded instead. I will also check next time :).

food bill automatically reduced by 50%. But always make sure by having an email confirmation stating the 50%. Or when you go there, double check the reservation that should mention '50%'. I saw it at South Wharf Meat Market.

This deal is not to be used with any other offer, and "dinner special" is counted towards another offer according to the shop keeper. I learned it the hard way in Kobe Jones Sydney, where I ordered a set menu of $39.9 per person for 4 people, and the shopkeeper explained that set menu is "dinner special" (it turns out it really is, printed). Surprisingly, if I add the items ordered, the dinner special is either more expensive or equal to if we order every items in the set separately, so I feel cheated.
It's an unpleasant experience in general due to the 1h45min time they needed to delivery the set of 6 dishes. Don't know if it is ordinary in AU.
