Good for keeping those beers cold. I have this running as a fridge and the engel running as a freezer in the back of the cruiser. Seems to handle the summer heat well.

    Probably much of a muchness, I've had my CF-40 for about 8months now, used it a few times and left it running for a couple weeks at a time at home too to give it a run, works perfectly.

    I'd go the Waeco because the covers look to be around the $100 mark for this, plus an extra year warranty.

    I have a waeco cf50 with a cover. Had plenty of trouble with it. Finally decided to stop spending money on repairs and bought an Engel. really happy with it so far.

      I think you are correct. the good thing though is this has the same compressor as the Waeco
