  • they are quite sweet actually. taste like a raspberry cider with a slight ginger aftertaste. i didnt mind them but could only drink one due to sweetness.

    • I got them last time and also found them a bit sweet and was expecting a bit more ginger . More a raspberry lemonade than a ginger beer .

  • Good price, personally not a fan of the raspberry. Spiced orange wasn't bad, original is nice. Might have one now!

  • +2

I got 4 cartons during this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/277222 for $2/bottle. Not bad, but quite sweet. Might have one now!

  • Yeah very sweet. purchased them from dan murphys last time

  • thought they were pretty terrible when i got em cheap at DM. forget it.

    • agree , horrible stuff ,had one and returned the rest for a refund

  • Definitely quite sweet. I'm glad I didn't buy a whole case last time.

  • The plain Crabbies ginger beer is good, but strawberry reminds me of UDL.

  • Good poured over ice and consumed sitting around the pool. Heat wave friendly.

  • +1

Yes they are too sweet but otherwise nice. So that just means you need to get creative. I like them with spiced rum and soda (1:1:1). They also go really well with a plain/dry glass of bubbly (about 1 part raspberry ginger beer to 3 parts bubbly).

    • I'm gonna try the spiced rum and soda recipe. Thanks.

    • Really equal parts rum, crabbies and soda? That seems like a lot of rum…

  • As all have mentioned above, this drop is too sweet. If you can get them cheap though, it is fun to use them to make 'blends'. For example, making up 'raspberry shandies' by mixing them with a cheap/relatively tasteless light beer, or creating a 'nice drop' via the addition of some freshly squeezed lemon juice and soda-water, etc.

Depending on your personal tastes, of course.
