They do offer a 6 months interest free period (via Zip Money).
@Sir Casm: "interest free" with a 25$ establishment fee and 5$ monthly fee. That's 55$ over 6 months. Assume you borrow their initial line of credit at 2000$, you're paying 2.75% of what you borrow in fees over 6 months, or a 5.5% yearly interest. If they allow you to borrow massive amounts then yes it's interesting.
Financing a purchase from a retailer seems a very expensive way to buy electronics. Even with their interest free offer you have no means of bargaining for the price. You would be better off buying second hands if possible.
I agree absolutely, I pay cash, always, but there's definitely an option for plebs to fall into the trap of borrowing to fund consumer purchases…
