This double Qantas Points offer is valid for members who register and book an eligible Domestic Qantas operated flight within Australia or International Qantas operated flight with a QF flight number between 12.01am (AEDT) 19 January and 11.59pm (AEDT) 23 January 2017 for travel between 1 February 2017 and 7 January 2018. Each passenger must register separately to be eligible for the offer. Qantas may extend or withdraw this offer at any time. Flights are subject to availability and any applicable fare conditions. Flights can be booked via qantas.com, a travel agent or Contact Centres. Fees may apply. Your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number must be included in the booking to earn double Qantas Points.     Still waiting for the double status credit promotion.

    • I haven't seen double for a while but they do targeted 50% bonus credits occasionally. Keep an eye on your email.

    • For the past 2 years, the double status credits promotion was announced by Qantas early May

    Don't have concrete evidence of the linkage, but after being initially annoyed I missed this by 2 days, I went to check ticket prices on the route I was flying and they've all gone up. Some by $6 (~5%) and one by $25 (~20%), for travel in February and March.

    So I would've been worse off if I bought under this deal.

      Same, flight I booked went from $103 to $147 since yesterday

      • Yep, price of same international economy return flight has increased since booking one week ago - 30% increase if booking on qantas.com and 9% increase in best price listed on iwantthatflight.
