There was only 10 selected countries before, now it has expanded to a lot more.

      • Is it Ukraine included ?

      • Its Only Standard calls to China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, United Kingdom & USA.

However wish they include all those countries you listed their with $50 plan

        • Thank you . I wish it happened too .

        • @Cairns17:
Someone shared this with me. Actually worked for me calling people in Philippines.

          http://www.freeuknumber4u.com/

Basically call forward from UK number to any number in the world. Because you have unlimited calls to UK, then its pretty much unlimited in your plan.

        • It actually does, ask someone instore about it. Just confirmed, not updated yet on the website.

  • Hi OP, Where did you get expiry info from ??

I couldn't find anything on optus website

    • It'll be advertised soon enough, but the promo officially happens tomorrow. Heard from a friend who works at optus.

Secretly hoping Nigeria was one of the countries included in the unlimited calls.

I have a lot of friends to call over there. They keep emailing me, it's fair to call them every now and then.

Can you ring up the talking clock in one of these countries then leave it off the hook, just to use telephonic bandwidth and to piss off Optus?

    • Sure there's no restrictions on time or length of call to those selected countries as long it's within the 28 days of the recharge. It'll only drain your battery I guess.

    • What's the point in that? There will be plenty of 'telephonic bandwidth' to use since most people just text and use the internet to call. That's why Optus is now unlimited with all their plans with calling.

      • Yeah nearly all plans are unlimited on calling and texting, the majority of traffic and congestion happens on 3G and 4G data.

28 days plans is just plain silly. Hopefully people take a note they are shaving away 2 to 3 days a month and that's a whole month per year. So effectively the $40 recharge is approx $43.3 and $50 recharge becomes approx $54.2

  • With $50 recharge on Prepaid Ultimate Plan with Optus I don't see that many countries are. In optus site only Standard calls to China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, United Kingdom & USA.

Might be something wrong, can any one confirm?

    • Not updated yet, ask instore about it. They will confirm the extra countries.

  • And post paid only has got from 100-300 mins?
