Chuwi Lapbook 14.1 - $247.99 USD / $334.04 AUD @ Gearbest

100

After seeing this deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/289058), I noticed the techtablets reviewer had mentioned a deal at gearbest, so I checked it out. This deal is cheaper and includes postage.

On the downside, cashrewards is better with the other deal and this deal seems to not provide an AU power plug.

Very good price for a FHD screen, decent CPU+RAM combination (N3450/4GB), and good battery life.

Shame that there is no SATA port, only EMMC
oh wait, there appears to be a M.2 slot for an SSD??

    There's also 2 slots of DDR3L memory.

Geekbench results for this laptop seems to be available.

It looks like a very big improvement from the N3710. Looks like Intel did a pretty good job of the new architecture.

    • Yep they matched the Intel Core M3-6Y30 performance for a fraction of the cost which makes it a worthy Cherry Trail replacement. The downside is we probably won't be seeing new ~$100 tablets anymore.

    • The spare m2 slot should be standard on every laptop, it is such a good idea.

  • Yeah cash back makes that deal cheaper, however this is still good!

  • Anyone know the weight for laptop on its own? Specs says 2.5kg with packaging

    • Product weight: 1.740 kg
      Package weight: 2.080 kg

      Where'd you find the 2.5kg?
