I hope physical copies actually have the whole game instead of having to download 40gigs +

    • I think it's meant to be "Standard Edition pricing" or standard price to JB Hi-Fi

ME:Andromeda is $89 elsewhere. So yea, it is a bargain

    • Launch pricing is not standard pricing, standard pricing is not launch pricing

Find me a cheaper local price and I will retract my neg.

    • That awkward moment when it isn't in fact standard pricing but in fact the cheapest option when other stores have it for $79 or $89…

I'm hoping this is just JB trying to be competitive and not the publishers feeling less-than-confident about the games, because I really want Mass Effect: Andromeda to be great.

    • A game can be great and affordable.

      • Absolutely, but discounted pricing right out of the gate is sometimes used to maximise sales on games that a publisher thinks will be below expectations. I don't expect the game to be bad, but this is just one of those things to be aware of. Similar to when advanced copies of the game aren't given out to reviewers, or review embaroes are set for the day of launch. Not always indicative of a bad game, but it can be.

      • Tell that to Resident Evil VII and Tales of Berseria. Not fair that two games I want release in the same week while other new releases like Watch Dogs 2 and Titanfall 2 could be had for next to nothing!! :)

Wildlands has quelled my concerns, I think it'll be worth $69 from what I've seen especially with a couple friends to play with.

    • Really like what cause EVERYTIME I hear about that game it gets worse.

Well first off I think the ability to play ANY game in co-op with friends drastically increases your enjoyment of said game. I like the mindblowing amount of customization you can do to your weapons, I like the admirable variety of environments in the game (the salt planes looks really cool, never seen that in a game) and the lighting effects, particularly lightning, make the game gorgeous to look at. I'm not saying it'll be a 10/10 game, far from it, but for $70 I can see my friends and I easily getting our money's worth until we go back to OzBargainplaying R6 Siege religiously :)

I'll let you guys know this weekend after a marathon Wildlands Closed Beta session I plan to do with my mates.

  • Great prices and pumped for wildlands and Andromeda although haven't finished ME2/3 yet :(

From the open beta comments ill wait until For Honor is much cheaper.

Just be careful all physical Ubisoft PC games only activate on UPlay not Steam.

  • Hi Pre Ordered Wildlands through UbiSoft with the new years discount so i'm hoping that it will be a great game i am a fan of the series and its been way to long since i've played Ghost recon.

For Honor - I played the Beta, i enjoyed it but i don't think that there is long term life in the game unless you're into MP

Mass Effect is a no brainer for me - there is a discount on the marketplace store for this one currently that i might take up to get the add ons but i will look at that a bit closer as i want to see more of the game first.

  • Key through Gamesplanet UK seems to be the cheapest for deluxe edition

Equates to roughly $61AUD… Anyone know if they're legit?
