or don't pay shipping at all and just shop in store.

$2 delivery is heaps better than a $40 taxi ride.

      • Uber? Train? Bus? Walk?

Sheesh some people live in a small unrealistic world where everyone has the same options as them. Just to help you out: there is no Uber in my home city, no train, the bus stop is far away and would require three changes to get to TGG's (all would cost more than $2 if they were available) and even if I could physically walk the distance I couldn't leave my disabled son for 2 hours while I went for a jaunt to pick up some kitchenware. Besides it's 32 degrees outside at 8am. No thanks!

        • @bigpallooka: hehe so it would seem I live in a small unrealistic world, but they were merely some suggestions.

        • @citybargainhunter: Ha! People who deal with a different reality to most others can tend to be a little over-sensitive. I forgot to mention the TGG's store here is in a retail precinct next to a highway with no pedestrian access. So…if I did ignore my dodgy knees, the heat, the fact the kitchenware isn't available in-store, what little sanity I have left and walked the 5kms of footpath-less roads with my son we would have to get his wheelchair over 4 lanes of highway, traffic islands and median strips then back. Thank the sky fairy for home delivery!

Kitchenware is not sold in store. They had the best price on some wine glasses over Christmas, and when I got to the store they said kitchenware was sold online only. There are some good prices especially with shipping discount
