  • looking forward to seeing expendables but rather go out of my way and use my MBF tickets than pay their 'normal' prices… cinebuzz points are a bonus tho so thanks for the notification :)

  • This is good to know, but not sure how it's a bargain?

  • This is on again. Last time I was able to watch 5 movies and get 1 free.

  • Think I'll have a look at Inception myself. I've had a free movie using Cinebuzz before - it's kinda a bargain depending on how you look at it. Buy 5 get 1 free - more of a loyalty card thing?

  • Oh, time to get those bulk packs. Anyone knows a good place to buy them? :)

And only thing would be getting Cinebuzz to actually register the points…they've messed up more than 5 times already. Either charged something like 30 points to 1 card and none to the other 2, or no points at all. Sigh.

    • This was done at the counter or online?

      • I rarely buy tickets online but the few times I did, I think they messed up with the online too…

Usually at the counter, though. I even get a 'receipt' saying the points are supposed to go in but they don't. Sigh. XD

  • Counter.
I've had them missed once or twice too.
They scanned my card I think. But the points never showed up.

    • strange must be a nsw thing, in wa they usually check after they've scanned, if not they'll let you know it didn't work and try again until it shows up

      • Yeah the last 5 times I've been to the movies the points never turned up…. went to the Parra one.
I wonder if paying by screen savers have anything to do with it….

        • It shouldn't, and if it does they should say so instead of scanning, eh. :(

@Cripto: So nice of them! XD

It's happenned to me several times in the last couple of months. They seem to have an ongoing problem.

You should submit a review (somewhat confusingly, they call it a "Ticket") with the details of the session you attended and Cinebuzz card number at http://eventcinemas.helpserve.com/index.php?_m=tickets&_a=su….

If they scanned your card (or you enetered it online), it should show up in their investigation and they should credit you the missing points within a few days.

damn i wish this was on for this month and not next month… i saw a bunch of movies this month and inception twice lol.

    good 'bargain' though

  • Anyone know the best place to buy tickets in bulk ATM? Was using the OPTUS and getting $9 tickets up until a couple months ago, but that's not working anymore.

And will I get points if I buy tickets elsewhere?

  • going to the movies tonight and tried to use MBF $9 deal but not good for >5pm saturdays. Anyone know any deals?

just saw on the cinebuzz member page that 50 pts = free movie under my rewards

  • Check you accounts people, I had only been credited the standard 10 points with a few movies I saw.

A quick email to the Cinebuzz people sorted it out tho :)
