After mounting them i've had no issues with draws falling out.
I think it happened a few times before i mounted them thought.

For them to be used unmounted they don't sit real great.
Quality is a bit meh, but when mounted they're fine.

      • Impressive set up😯
        Thanks for photos.

I've mounted my sets of old 20 drawer Dick Smith ones to end of steel shelving unit. They are at handy height, & can be simply lifted off mounting to be taken elsewhere.

        Always secure your storage units!
Had a uni holiday job with Australian distributor for National Semiconductor (integrated circuits). Entire parts drawer system collapsed off wall - we were picking expensive chips from our shoes.

  • These units are slightly more than twice the size of the old 20 drawer Dick Smith drawer units. (I have a stack of those.) Slightly deeper & wider, twice the height with extra large drawer at bottom. Drawers are just a little longer.

Great sized units for small electronic components etc.

Don't buy these, the trays are very loose and its easy to knock out more than one tray (I bought these last time they were on special). The ones from paramount browns are much better and worth the extra cost IMO. https://www.paramountbrowns.com.au/products/storage-system-2…

    • $15 for 20 drawers (no large drawer)
So $30 against $13.45 for 40 small drawers.

I have 3 at work. if you have table table then it wont be easy to knock.

if you have unstable/wobbly table then yes…

      • Wall or bench mount.
See photos above for great set up

Height vs width & depth of base will make these more unstable than more squat units (like those above).

Store heaviest items in bottom drawers. Should consider attaching to wall or bench, or adding weight to base. Best suited to storing small light objects - especially in top drawers.

I attach my (half height Dick Smith) drawers to end of (Bunnings etc) metal shelving units - easy to access & very stable. Can easily lift drawer unit off mounting to take elsewhere.

I'm guessing this is in response to the upcoming Aldi Saturday specials?(Check the 2nd image)

    https://www.aldi.com.au/en/special-buys/special-buys-sat-25-…

    • Almost identical looking 33 drawer units for $20, against 41 drawer unit here for $13.45 (+ $12.95 delivery on 1-3).

Same 8 small drawers high x only 4 wide plus large bottom drawer.
Suitability depends on number of drawers required, drawer size & construction.

These may be worthwhile if you only want 1 unit, considering delivery cost.

[Removed incorrect comment above - thanks Darkhour]

I am in Brisbane and happy to order 4 of them if someone wants 1 or 2 for themselves. Out North Lakes way or in Fortitude Valley to collect. Let me know.

Thats if their website will start working for me
