  • Hi IWTF, are you aware of any promotion for return flights to major European cities in June and July?

  • is this including airport tax, baggage fees etc?

    • If the tax is normally part of the airfare, then yes. It also includes checked baggage.

This is a great deal. I've been to Hong Kong and it was an eye opening experience, seriously. The food was fantastic although the high humidity was something I struggled with. My local friend and guide took me to see a friend of his that lived in cramped conditions. I had know idea you could fit 14 people in a single bedroom apartment and get paid so little you'd never be able to afford a house let alone your own rental without sharing with 10 others. We're slowly getting there here in Sydney unfortunately. Worth going to Hong Kong though. Cheers OP.

Are the third party travel agents that these booking engines divert to all trustworthy? Anyone here used them? As an example I recently needed to book a flight from Bali to Melbourne, thought I would search with i want that flight. TIger pulling out has basically made the Bali - Melb direct route a monopoly for Jetstar, so no specials there. Found a flight via Sydney with Qantas much cheaper than Jetstar direct. I want that flight says "purchase your ticket with Budget Air", so I start entering details click on next then all of sudden that price is gone and it's much more expensive. Googled Budget Air review - one star reviews everywhere, glad that didn't go through, I notice this morning that that original price with Budget Air is displaying in the search again. The next in line was tripsta, googled them, average reviews a better (3 to 4 star), start entering details, get a price, then I thought I'll check booking with Qantas direct and that worked out about $70 more than tripsta so thought I'll save the money and give them a go. Got to the payment screen then tripsta threw in a sneaky credit card payment fee which made the booking two more dollars than going with Qantas direct! Booked with Qantas direct. I guess the lesson is don't trust the price that these agents give and always check the price booking direct.
