04

Aussie Farmers Direct is selling its new season of Australian Shepherd Avocados at an unbeatable price of 2 for $5 in NSW.

This is cheaper than what Coles ($3.50 each) and Woollies ($3 each) are selling their Shepherd avocados for.

  • How many avocado would I need to buy so as to not have to pay delivery to save $1 or $2?

    • 25$ is the minimum to get free delivery

If you add the $2 delivery fee on it's more expensive than Woolworths and the same as Coles. It doesn't seem like much a bargain.

I just bought new season shepards from Coles yesterday, 2 for $5.

considering I've gotten fruit from aussie farmers before with coles stickers on them, I'd say they're identical

OP said this price was unbeatable…

  • when I log in they're 2 for 7$ anyway?

  • we get them from our sunday market direct from the grower for 3 for 5 bucks.sometimes he has smaller ones for 4 for 5 bucks.

    Always fresh..

I wish I could find more farmers selling their stuff cheaper than the stores.Nothing better than fruit or veggies picked ripe off the tree in season.

  • got them cheaper at my local fruitshop

  • I can always get them cheaper at local fruit shop - 2 for $5 is not that amazing. Maybe prices are just more expensive where you live??

  • Same price or cheaper at coles, fruit shop or markets.

Free off our neighbour's tree… No deal.

    • Are you my neighbor jv?

      • Do you have an avocado tree.

        • Yep :)

          Then maybe I am…

  • Can anyone tell me what they taste like this early in the season?
They still shiny? Wouldn't think they would have a lot of oil content yet
Don't think I've had Sheppard variety before to know much about them
Furete used to be the early onset fruit, they are big, green, smooth and pear shaped, and they get a waxy coating as they get mature
Very flavourful unlike the hass variety which is popular and a mild taste to me,roundish and purple
