Yes. You do get the most 'least attractive' like 3rd floor no elevator or possibly an inside room no Window etc. My advice before was to do a street view of the address to actually get the name of the hotel. I've noticed Agoda, who onsell Zen, actually name the hotel for you.

We used a Zen & A Reddoorz in Bali. It seemed that they would offer a 25% discount on a regular $31/n hotel and give you that hotels least popular room for $22/n i.e. with a concrete wall view. Same room just no view. Good deal though.
