  • Good time to transfer credit card points to Qantas in March

Pretty sure you don't get a choice with Woolies, they do it in December.

Alas, this is basically only applicable to Amex Plat Charge holders (and one of the ultra high end Westpac business cards, iirc?) because QF refuses to participate in any other bank-run programs.

    • I think the ANZ FF Black with 75k Qantas points would work as well?

      • +2

No, that's a direct QFF earning card, rather than a bank rewards program from which you can transfer bank points into Qantas points.

    • Yeah I used to be able to do this with my Westpac Amex/Visa. Alas they no longer wanted to continue waiving my annual fee.

  • Looks like Qantas has done it's homework and beaten Virgin Velocity to the ball. I did just see Velocity are offering a 15% bonus for Coles Flybuys transfers, and there bi - annual 15% bonus normally pops it's head up in April.

But with Qantas and now Singapore down valuing their FF programs…but 30% is pretty generous… decisions, decisions.

  • CBA rewards have stopped allowing you to transfer your points to QFF.
I've decided to move to Virgin points. Seems better value as well.

  • I think this is targeted… in the T&C's:

This offer is only available to members who have previously transferred reward points earned on a credit or charge card to Qantas Points and received an email and/or letter with the above offer.

    • For what it's worth, I received an email the other day, and the letter arrived today, which suggests that there is a basis for them to enforce the T&Cs

    • Upon logging into QFF account for me it was the main promotion on the homepage, not sure if its targeted or if everyone else seeing it too

Min transfer 1,000,000 Qantas Points and over

    • That is not what the QF site says, nor the OP's post.

      • I think he means in order to get 30% min transfer is 1,000,000 points. So for realistically it's the same as the 15% Virgin deal.
