I can put an order through for you to pick up on the weekday if you like? :)

    2000

    eParcel: $16 Courier: $17

  • Great price if you can pick up.

  • If only this also supports BT when USB ports on a lot of tablets is a premium.

  • Max one per customer? As if I add two it goes to one regular price one reduced.

    • Sorry my friend, I forgot to mention that in the OP.
But unfortunately yes only 1 per customer

      • No chance of two? Its a good saving if I drive for two .. not so much for one. Thanks for the quick response too.

          Hi pw2002au!

I've just had a look if I could manually apply the promo code for two controllers, unfortunately our system will only allow 1x unit to be at that price.

Sorry again for not mentioning this earlier.

Planning to buy the Xbox S, will this controller work with it. Thanks

haha — I was hoping to control my lawn mower with it, do you think it will work? it's a Victa

I laughed, but the more I think about it… Why can't you use the 360 controllers? I know they use a different wireless tech, but why? The old tech worked fine.

And they are the same controller, basically, why not let people using old controllers for multiplayer and such?

Can't the Wii U do that? Seems like a good selling point to me, that MS should have jumped on.

What would it have cost them, per console, to keep the old wireless receiver in? 50c? $1? $5?

Probably just to keep revenue coming in, new controllers = higher price.
Also I've had 2 xb1 controllers break in 3 years vs none in the whole x360 lifecycle..

No, this controller is for the last generation of Xbox, the Xbox 360. You will have to purchase the new Xbox One Controller

        Thanks for that

Hi mate can I place an order for pick-up from. South Melbourne.
Clayton is too far from the west

    • +1

      Hey mate!

You sure can! However just had a quick look at stock we would have to get the controller transferred on Monday to our South Melbourne branch.

      Any problems let me know!

      Thanks :)

      EDIT: typo

  • wow~!

  • was keen until i saw $25 for eparcel delivery

If pick up is an option its a great deal. For me in WA not so much

  • Does it work on windows 10? I couldn't find any drivers for w10.
Edit: Also, can I drop in and buy it or do I have to buy online and pick up at your store? I live 10 mins away from your HQ :p

    • I'm in the same boat, keen to get one if it works with windows 10.
I assume the receiver will let it work?

      Can you confirm rep?

    • +1

      Hi Vadermort!

The drivers should auto install with Windows 10 once the receiver is plugged in.
More info can be found here: http://support.xbox.com/en-AU/xbox-on-windows/accessories/xb…

You can definitely drop into Clayton and place an order over the counter :) just mention the promo and we'll apply the discount to your order.
Please note that we do close early today at 3pm. But we'll be back open on Monday at 9:30am.

      Cheers.

      • Walked in and bought it before the office closed, had time to also test it and it worked exactly like you said. Cheers aikoau!

        • Happy to be of help!

Can confirm it works on win10

    • +2

its plug and play with Windows 10, it will do the driver install the second you plug the controller wireless receiver in via usb

you might want to install the free application someone made that enables you to turn the controller off when you run it (just google it for the name) otherwise you will have to yank the battery pack and put it back in to kill the power to the control straight away

      https://sourceforge.net/projects/turnoffxboxcontroller/

if using linux just install xboxdrv and you're good to go. works well on Raspberry Pi you can recompile the ScummVM emulator where the left analog stick controls the mouse and the buttons control various hotkeys if you have time to compile it yourself.

  • Can I get some information for the Receiver?

Bcz I suffer a China receiver that is printed "XBOX360" instead of "Microsoft"

Actually it may work in Win10 but not in Win7 64bit well.

  • Can I place an online order and then pick it up from Rowville?

    • +1

      Hi Airal3rt!

You definitely can! In the checkout phase you can select which store you would like to pick up from :)
The controller will need to be transferred to our Rowville branch which will be ready for your collection around 4pm on Monday.

      Cheers.

  • Are these still worth something?

Man i have 4 of these lying plus my my old xbox 360

    • +1

Still in the top 5 controllers available for PC gaming (for games that make sense with a controller, not keyboard and mouse).

  • Damn missed the deal!

  • OP, I assume this was clearance stock and no chance of getting anymore in at this price?

  • Anyone know where I can grab just a receiver (official) for cheap?

    • What do you need the official receiver for?

Genuine controllers are always much better than the fakes, sure. But the receiver is just a receiver. It's only like $6 delivered on ebay…

      • Generally I prefer to pay a premium if it means the product will last longer and I think it's obvious why most people avoid fakes. You just can't trust 'em.

If enough people vouched for these fakes though, I'd jump on them for sure.

  • Darn It! Was looking for the receiver.

  • NOOooOOOOooOOoOO! I missed out! Bummer! Have been waiting for it to go on sale. Depressed now.
