    3.5" 1TB - nothing too special.

As you can see, the ID - 24645 - on the price tag is also listed on that page.

  • OP said it's a 2.5" HDD. So is it a 2.5" or a 3.5"? It makes quite a bit of difference.

      • Nice link! I have never seen it before.. But yeah, the comments below have answered my query.

    i think it's 2.5" 1tb

whether it's 9.5mm is another story

If it is 2.5" then that is extremely cheap, however if it is a 2.5" then that's average if not, above average price for those at the moment.

edit: the box certainly looks like it may be the 2.5" so I will be giving it a +(ive)

    edit: seems like it's a 3.5"

  • Pretty sure it's a 3.5", therefore not a great deal. If I'm wrong and it's 2.5" then it's a great deal ;)

  • Nothing special - like quislor said its a 3.5"

  • gee, if this is the 2.5 1Tb, then they might have stuck the wrong price on it…

The JB Hifi website has the 500Gb one as $119
    http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/computers-laptops/computer-ac…

And another site has the 1Tb as $241

    $239 for the 1TB 2.5" model

I doubt the 2.5" will be under $100 anytime soon!

    Most definitely a 3.5" Drive.

    Confirmed at Chadstone store.

Saw this today in Newcastle and got really excited. But then I saw the sign and it's 240 volts so it's not USB powered.

    • No 3.5" drive is USB powered.
You need to look at 2.5"

  • 3.5 1TB $99, too expensive …

  • Called them - unfortunately it's the 3.5".

    2.5" 1TB = $249

    +1 for effort though.

  • there $94 at HN got one the other day and there definitely 3.5

You can get the same drive at MLN for $78 or go to OW and pricematch for $73

  • $99 ? Not enough of a bargain to have to deal with those stuck up staff at JB Hifi. Prices for 1TB have gone down recently, you should be able to find it much cheaper than this elsewhere. -ve to JB, +ve to MLN.
