  • Gee, I don't like all those .99's
$11.99 sounds so much like $10 but is actually $12
    $5.99 sounds like $5 but is $6

Sounds like $10 for 100 containers but is actually $18 all up.

    BPA in cheap plastic containers…
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bisphenol_A
since reading stuff about cheap plastic containers (specially microwaving them) i'm a lot more careful…
    wonder if its in these…

    • aw it says "The National Toxicology Panel recommends avoiding microwaving food in plastic containers". That's what I always do as I bring my food for lunch. Are there any ways I can keep and microwave my food with no harm?

      • Woolies currently have specials on Decor Tellfresh food containers which are BPA free (labelled on the bottom of the containter).

At least in Eastwood anyway, I'm not sure if other places will have it on half price.

        • Actually Kmart has better deal. $15 for a set of 10 KLIP-IT containers. This is made in NZ and BPA free.
          - 2 x 2L
          - 3 x 1L
          - 3 x 400ml
          - 2 x 200ml

This is also microwave safe :) and KLIP-IT container as the name sound, has the clip for the lid not like Decor container comes with no clip.

Try pouring the content into a porcelain bowl and cover it with another porcelain bowl, place them on a plastic rack in the microwave oven and reheat as usual.
Do be careful as the bowls can get very hot.

  • Looks similar to the assorted junk containers that I have amassed over the years. Looking at the picture I think I'll chuck mine into the recycle bin. No wonder that they are piling them high and selling them low.
