I'm the manager from Hanaichi Fine food in Winter Garden, I got a good news for people who wants to buy a cheaper lunch.
Below is an official memo I received on Tuesday this week:

In order to further promote our Food Court retailers and to introduce our two new outlets (FantAsia and Origin Kebabs) to the CBD market, we will once again be staging a $2 food token promotion.

HOW THE PROMOTION WORKS
As has been done in the past, 10,000 x $2 tokens will be distributed by promotional staff at key points throughout the city beginning on Monday 16th August 2010. The tokens are as good as cash at any Macarthur Central Level 1 Food Court Retail Outlet between Monday 16th August and Friday 3rd September 2010.

This is very similar to Winter Garden $3 voucher done in the last 2-3 weeks, but it is only for $2.

However, it's $2 off for anything you buy.
It doesn't say 1 token/per person……like Winter Garden did.
but I suppose it's 1 token/per person, not bringing like 10 tokens at once, like some people will do it anyway.
I will check it tomorrow with the center management.

It also doesn't say where you can obtain those tokens, once again, I will go ask more details for let you people know.

By the way, sorry for the ugly looking picture, I just scan those, edit and posted it up.
Because It doesn't say anything at their homepage.

    Great work shin.

    Last time Macarthur did a voucher it was being handed out by staff outside the main entrances (or at least the Wallace Bishop side next to the elevators)

      I posted this up it doesn't mean that you guys have to come to Hanaichi to eat.
      I'm just letting you guys to know what's happening in the city.
      So you guys can get a cheaper lunch.

      I just want to make some businesses for my company.
      Because lately there are quite a lot of shops are opening and we're loosing some customers.

      (Well, it is maybe because of my "attitude" to customers.)

    one question, can we use the printed one? i read somewhere that someone got into trouble with the management at the wintergarden, i dont date to use the printed one!

      I was the person that went up to Winter Garden center management and ask them about the print out.

      I suppose you can not use it, but I'm not sure.
      that is only just a print out they sent to us for samples,
      I suppose there will be something on the other side.

      Anyway, I will go ask them tomorrow for more details.

      Who doesn't want a cheaper lunch? 999 people out of 1000 people will say they want.
      only 1 person who is too rich that doesn't need it.

    Shame the Chicken Hanaichi went up to $7.10 (in Wintergarden anyway) BUT a discount is a discount.

    I need to add that the serving was quite generous so I actually felt like it was kind of worth the price. I love seeing the container full of food.

      Yes I know everyone always complaining about the price.

      But, labor cost has been rising, so is everything.
      This is why we had to keep pricing up all the time.
      otherwise we can't make enough money to keep the company going.

      Well, maybe you guys can suggest to the government, tell them that Hanaichi has been a very good fast food take away and there are lots of people love to eat it.
      then suggest them donate us couple million dollars a year.
      And we will make our food like $3 or $4 per meal, this sound's good? haha.
      (Just my dream, don't need to worry about it)

          We open almost everyday, you can always come and eat.
          But I'm sorry we're closed already for today.
          (Today in city only Macarthur opened)

    Today I went to ask details about it, then here is what I got from them….

    1.They said those tokens will be giving out at the entrance, so I suppose when you go in Macarthur and they will give you out 1.

    2.There will be no print out copies allowed, which you basically can't copy it. Because those tokens are printed out as a different paper from just a normal standard A4 paper.

    3.1 token will be only use once by each person and only can use one at the time. They didn't printed out on the token but today they said to me that they will email to the person and add it in. (If it isn't too late yet)

    So I guess for you guys just have to go visit Macarthur everyday next week.
    (But not during the weekend, I suppose they won't give out during the weekend, or maybe you guys can collect a few more during the week.)
